Comparing to other Oral B iO series, series 5 is more practical and budget friendly. This toothbrush really cleans well, it offers a dentist clean feel. It has variety of settings as other newer series but at a lower price. I don't really care about the app much. It is good to have, but I am not impressed. The only reason I don't give it 5 out of 5 stars is the battery. It only lasts for 4 to 7 days. To me, that's a little off because my other toothbrush battery lasts for ...like forever. In sum up, it's great for its price

I've been using a more basic electric toothbrush for a couple of years now and while it's been fine, I didn't know what I was missing until I got THIS one. There are a lot of great features like a brush pressure indicator, timer, a variety of speeds/intensities, and a compatible app so that you can track and customize your brushing routines. My other toothbrush had a more elongated head and I wasn't sure how I'd like the round head that this one has but I LOVE it. It gets back behind my back molars surprisingly easily and I can honestly observe a significant difference in how much cleaner my teeth have felt since I started using this. The charge on it seems to last a very substantial amount of time and when it does need to be charged it doesn't really take that long. Am I happy with this? Absolutely.

They're super advanced and intuitive and even tell you if you're brushing too hard and well enough. I haven't even figured out everything they do completely because we've been happy with just that. Battery powered with extra heads too. Happiness all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oral B iO series 5 electric toothbrush is amazing! It comes with the iO ultimate clean brush head, toothbrush handle, charger and travel case. I love that it has 5 different smart modes to help get you the best clean. Daily clean, sensitive, super sensitive, whitening and intense. The Oral B app lets you sync your toothbrush to keep track with how well you brush and if you brush too hard or not hard enough. I started off with the normal mode and had to switch to sensitive because it was too strong. The app kept telling me to put more pressure on my teeth when brushing. I found it a little difficult to keep looking at my app while brushing because I like to look in the mirror. It will take a little adjusting to get used to the electric over manual but my teeth feel super clean! Way cleaner than with a manual brush.

Manual toothbrushes just doesn’t clean the same way. I love this new smart one, it works with the oral- B app. You can keep track of your dental health. The app connected to my toothbrush via Bluetooth in seconds. It lets you personalize your toothbrush, like the color of the smart ring, modes, timers, plus brushing habits. It even has challenges where you could earn badges. It’s cool. The toothbrush itself is great, it’s got different clean modes, i ,Ike gentle. It buzzes so you know when to move from area to area. It also let’s you know when it needs charging and when it’s done plus plus more. I am happy the brush is round, I don’t like the rectangle shape. I prefer round toothbrush heads, It’s perfect size to get in the back of my mouth and I like to do each teeth to make sure they are really clean. My only wish is it was the same toothbrush heads as my old toothbrush so I could use the ones I already own. Oh well. I love this set comes with two of everything, one for me and one to share. The travel cases are great as I do travel sometimes for two weeks at a time and I always take my electric toothbrush. I usually wrap them in my towels. I would have to now with the traveling case, it has a place for the handle and for two brush heads, they snap into place so no dancing around. I am happy with it all so far.

I was skeptical about switching to Oral-B from Sonicare. My wife and I have used our Sonicare E-Series toothbrush since 2010. For 14 years that toothbrush served us well and was still kicking. Our son wanted a toothbrush like ours, so we decided it might be time for us to upgrade. We found this deal at Sam's and thought about it for about a week. I'm glad we did. The round brushhead DOES clean better than the oval. The head is a little fatter than the Sonicare, so it takes some getting used to. To address some of the other reviews, don't use as much toothpaste and you won't drool over yourself. There is no reason toothpaste should be running down your arm with this toothbrush. We have not seen any rust issues, and the batteries charge just fine. All in all, we are so glad we made the switch

I’ve used other electric toothbrushes before but this one takes things to another level. First off, the cleaning power is incredible. The micro-vibrations combined with the round brush head really get into every little corner of my mouth. My teeth feel dentist-clean after every use, and I’ve noticed my gums look healthier and less irritated, even after just a couple of weeks. The pressure sensor is a huge help—I didn’t realize I was brushing too hard until the light turned red! The smart features are surprisingly helpful. It guides you through each quadrant of your mouth and gives feedback when you’re done. Honestly, I did not realize how ineffective I have been brushing my teeth all these years. Battery life has been solid—I charge it maybe once a week, and that’s with twice-daily use. It’s also super quiet compared to other electric brushes I’ve owned. The carrying case is a plus too and good quality! The only “downside,” if you can call it that, is that it sometimes skips for a second and pauses rotation but it only stops for a second. Overall, this toothbrush is worth every penny. My dentist even noticed the difference during my checkup. Highly recommend!

I say that because I haven't had one in a very long time. I love the color and sleek design and yes, it makes me want to brush my teeth as I can't help but notice it. Feels comfortable as in not heavy or buttons getting in the way of me accidentally turning it off while in use. The timer is genius so no more counting in my head or singing the Happy-go-lucky Birthday song. I have come to realize that I'm a little harsh on my front teeth when it comes to brushing thanks to the intelligence of this toothbrush. It has an app you can download that's more scientific to really let you up your game and brush your teeth properly. The bristle head is smaller and easier for me to reach the back of my teeth and gums without a volcanic gage reflux. Very appreciated along with not being overly loud annoying my ear drums. This screams perfect and leaves my gums and breath feeling fresh after each use!
