This said, the Oral-B iO Series 5 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush is hands down the coolest AND smartest toothbrush I’ve ever owned. It has five smart brushing modes, Bluetooth connectivity, A.I. brushing recognition, and a smart pressure sensor. I am OBSESSED with this toothbrush!

The bristles are soft and the movement helps get every spot. Other electric toothbrushes have been difficult to change the head on or bulky. Highly recommend.

My original OralB electric toothbrush recently died so I decided to try this version of the new series. Sadly, it does not meet my expectations. First, I'm finding it difficult to hold onto the handle while it's vibrating. There is nothing to give a good grip so it keeps turning in my hand. When I tried to just tightly hold onto it, I kept hitting the buttons. Second, I can't easily move the brush head in my mouth. It's partially because I can't hold the base steady but it also feels like the brush head is too short. In order to get my back teeth the handle is hitting my front teeth. This never occurred with my previous brush. On the positive side, I really like that it has a small footprint. My first one took up a lot of space since it had space for 4 heads even though I was the only person using it.

It’s supposed to be able to tell which area of your teeth you are brushing. But it’s horribly inaccurate. So every time I brush for two minutes straight, spending 15 seconds on each quadrant, it gives me a red frowny face saying I did a bad job brushing. Very disheartening. I was hoping getting a nice new toothbrush would help with my oral hygiene. But it’s really annoying for it to say I didn’t brush well enough when I watch it thinking I’m brushing a completely different portion of my mouth. Trying to go back over area it thinks i missed takes way longer than 2 minutes & then it gets mad at me for that too.

One of the standard features that I absolutely love is the smart pressure sensor that alerts me when I'm applying too much pressure while brushing. This has been a game-changer for me, as I tend to a bit too enthusiastic with my brushing technique. Now, I can confidently maintain the right amount of pressure, protecting my gums from potential damage. Second it has a built in Bluetooth to use the App to brush your teeth!! How awesome is that! It has LED Interface, personalized coaching and 5 smart modes!! The change in how my teeth felt after brushing was immediate. This toothbrush is well worth the money!! Overall, I’m really happy with this product and I’m so excited for my healthier whiter teeth journey!!

This particular product is well made, has a lot of good features, is designed well, is not too tough to learn how to use, has good documentation, is well reviewed by other users, is available at a fair price, works well, etc. A lot of this is subjective in how you like the feel of it and how it works for you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was probably one of my favorite discoveries, love the duo packaging, makes a perfect no-brainer couples gift, or a great option for travelers with one set for home use and one for travel. I am very impressed with all the different modes this brush supports, so everyone is bound to find something that works for them and the pressure indicator coupled with the fact that the brush can be connected to the app really helps in understanding your brushing habits and behavior and correcting any shortfalls you may have. I feel like I am getting a much better brushing experience after switching to this product, so I would definitely recommend it.
