[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After we adopted our pups we started them on the Crunchy Puppy Chow. They liked it but always left some morsels in their bowls. We noticed Purina also sells Tender and Cruchy and gave it a try. Now this they didn't like but instead loved and now they finish all their food. We began using a food container to store their Tender and Crunchy, a cute pail with a lid. Since we've been storing their food in the pail we now have to tape the lid because they flip the lid and eat out of the pail between meals. Our girls are happy and so are we with Tender and Crunchy - we know it's good for them and it's nice to not throw money away daily because they finish it. We will purchase this product until they graduate to adult food - and because they love it we will continue buying the Purina brand for the rest of their lives. We are enclosing a photo of two very content pups resting after they just finished a meal of Tender and Crunchy.

Always used regular puppy chow in the past with no issues. Adopted two new puppies a few months ago, been using the tender and crunchy. Every single bag so far has had baseball sized GREEN CHUNKS with a disgusting odor. Not mold, just chunks of food that didn’t get ground up all the way I guess. Consistent errors like that (along with the smell) is concerning and makes me paranoid that if they aren’t doing quality control checks, making sure the big chunks are removed- what else isn’t getting checked?? Really disappointed after being a loyal Purina customer for over a decade.

[Employee of purina] I have been a Purina dog food fan for approximately 45 years now. I have Labrador Retrievers (2), German Shorthair Pointers (3) and an English Pointer currently and we produce a litter of pups annually. The only puppy kibble we will feed our pups is Purina Tender & Crunchy Puppy Chow. Our pups grow healthy and fat on Purina Puppy Cow!

Both Charlie and Purina Puppy Chow Tender & Crunchy are new to me. Charlie is a 4lb, 8mo old Shorkie. And the pieces are the right size for him. And both soft and crunchy make it easier for him to eat. Plus the bonus. I'd never buy anything other than Purina anyway. Used for over 20 yrs with all my furbabies!!

I have 6 dachshunds 2 are Senior Dogs and one puppy but they all agree on the tender and crunchy puppy and dog foods by Purina . I recommend it to everyone And maybe thats why i cant find it in any stores anymore i guess i have recommended it just a little to much

Would give a 0 star if possible, slowly switched my puppy to this and after being on this food nothing but diarrhea and vomiting. We also found very hard almost like green pieces of cement or rocks in her food… we couldn’t even break the pieces with pliers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always start my puppies out on this and it allows them to gain good weight. My vet is always impressed with their weight and tells me they are on track. When they reach of age I switch to the dog chow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 5 month old lab and her name is Nellie. She had a brother named Hammer, which made Hammer and Nell. But her brother got ran over by a Frito Lay chip truck and did not make it. But Nellie has loved her puppy chow since day one when she started eating dry food. I had to buy a special bowl that slows her eating down. If not she will gobble it up in seconds. I can tell that the puppy chow has helped her remain healthy and growing strong.

My Boxador is a very picky eater.  We tried many different name brands and nothing worked.  AS soon as we brough home Purina Puppy chow, it was like we couldn't keep the food in the bowl.  He loves it and we don't have to worry if he's eating enough!  Thanks Purina!!!!

I contacted my breeder before bringing my puppy, Apollo home. I asked her which food to feed him. She recommended a few obscure brands, so I hunted one down. I bought a large bag. She said if I transitioned him between foods, I should blend the two foods until he is used to the new one so as not to upset his dietary habits. Interestingly, she also supplied me with a sample pack of Purina Puppy Chow, so I knew he liked the food. When I got down to the bottom of the hard-to-find food, I purchased this Puppy Chow. I mixed it with well his current food--and believe it or not, he picked around the old food to just eat the Puppy Chow!! I am a believer!! I want my dog to be healthy AND I want him to be happy. It will be Puppy Chow for the rest of the year for Apollo!
