We have been feeding our cat this Pate for many years, 1/4 can every morning and dry food the rest of the day. Recently, she would not eat some of the pate. I looked at the can and it was Farm Favorite Chicken and Carrots. She knew! We had to give those cans away to a shelter.

I have fed this to my cats for years (in addition to free feeding kibble) and the only reason i dropped a star is only due to the bewildering fact that my cats (all 5 of them!) do not like the newest flavor addition called 'Farm Favorites'. I have no idea why, I provide 2 cans of Friskies Pate daily that they share (none of them will eat the gravy version of the food) and with the exception of the farm favorites, they enjoy the Friskies Pate with gusto. None of them compete for the wet food but when I serve the Farm Favorites flavor I consistantly have leftover food to throw out. I have taken to giving this flavor to a person I know who feeds feral cats. My cats are indoor only so I dont know if the feral cats are eating the Farm Favorites variety or if some other wild animal (skunks, possums, crows?) gets this for their meal. All are present in my rural community so I cant confirm this without setting up some kind of camera. When looking at the details and specifications listing feeding guidelines, I was surprised to see that the Mariners catch appears to be less nutritious than the other flavors as more of that is recommended per pound of cat. The cats are all healthy adults so i dont have to be concerned about feeding individual diets unless one would develop a need for one. This IS useful information though as it indicates (to me at least) that the recipes are indeed different from one another rather than just some artificial flavoring agent or labelling. I feel that my cats all do very well, nutritionally, on the feeding regimen I employ and even though I do free feed a high quality kibble, none of the cats are overweight according to their veterinarian. I dont think I would ever just provide a canned food to my cats unless medically necessary as their teeth are good and even my oldest (29 when she passed last fall) had good teeth and I credit the crunchy kibble for this plus no bad breath.

PLEASE, speak with your delivery service. They consistently place our boxes on their sides, resulting in crushed and leaking products. We ordered 3 boxes of canned cat food which we watched her place on its side, again. We unloaded and all 3 boxes have severely dented or open cans. We feed 9 cats and at $.70+ a can it adds up when we have to throw some away. This should not happen if the boxes were handled properly.

Been ordering this cat food for a long time.Everytime cases come I have to throw away at least 5-6 cans either open from damage or leaking.What is happening to quality control in the stores.Last few times they come in flimsy boxes and they are not secured for shipping.Employees need to be shown how to pack items for customers.POTD PLAN ORGANIZE TRAIN TRAIN DIRECT.

It was a better variety before they switched out one of the flavors (Salmon/Sea Captain's Choice) for the so-called Farm Favorites Chicken & Carrots. My cat absolutely will not eat it. She ate a couple of bites and then tried to bury the rest like a poop in a litter box and walked away. So, the price is no bargain when you're stuck with 10 cans of useless cat food. That's $50 I'd rather spend at PetSmart or Chewy until they get rid of the Farm Favorite flavor. And I would swear some of the pate' portions inside have gotten smaller and substituted with more gravy to make the ounce weight.

My cats love this food. However it is no longer available as a shipping option. Why is the Purina Friskies Gravy Pleasers Variety Pack, Adult Wet Cat Food, 5.5 oz., 60 ct. still available as a shipping option? I ended up purchasing it from PetSmart . I received it the following day.

This is the second shipment in a row were of the cans were deeply dented and 2 were already split at the top. The 1st time I figured it was just someone not being careful but I'm tired of throwing away expensive cans of cat food in addition to cleaning up the maggots coming out of the cans and getting rid of the smell. The 1st time it happened my house was suddenly filled with flies and it took me a bit to figure out where they were coming from.

Good price for the number of cans, but unfortunately, out of my four cats, only two like it.
