I hate to give anything Members Mark a bad review, as I use MM wherever I can to save money and have always appreciated the quality, however, both of my dogs have gotten sick (throwing up and diarrhea) from this Chicken Jerky Recipe treat for dogs (the Nudges knock-off). Though it doesn't happen every single time, it's still concerning that it's happened more than once, and always fed it in tiny cut-up pieces (see details below). These dogs are _not_ extra-sensitive, and one of them surprisingly backs away (before he then takes a bite) like he's trying to tell me something. At first I thought it might be that their digestive systems needed to get used to something new, as often happens with a food change, but after a few weeks of giving as treats and especially after reading reviews of similar symptoms, I'm going to listen to my dogs and try returning these before this treat causes more harm. Please note: I would cut these 'jerky strips' into very tiny bites, both for my 20-lb. Terrier mix and my 10-lb. Chihuahua. I would cut them into no more than 1/2" square/ea., and usually gave them about 6 tiny pieces per day--once for every time they went potty outside and finished their dinner). It's the 20-lb. dog that had the worst of the symptoms, but they've each presented both symptoms mentioned above. (When it's not diarrhea, it's much softer stools than usual. Nothing else in their diet has changed.) I kindly request that the Comments moderator passes this along to Members Mark, please, so they can determine if they need to investigate and/or change something in their recipe. Thank you! The quality of these has went to poop. They used to be great but, for the past three to four purchases of 3 bags in each order, the chicken has been dry. I even get a get about 4-7 pieces per bag mixed in that are completely dried out and brittle that have to be thrown away. To ad further insult, the price of these has jumped 3 times in the past 18 months.

Bought these and was happy to see them im this brand and in club. My dogs love the brand name Nudges of these that were previously carried in club. These however were much tougher than the Nudges and actually 1.00 more. My senior doesn't have many treats and she can't chew these.

I bought this recently and the chicken pieces were dried out with hard edges. The expiration date is in 2024 so I thought the package would be fresh. The package did not have any noticeable holes. The only explanation I have for the poor quality is that the package itself requires improvement. For a relatively higher priced product, why is the package material so inferior? Please improve the quality of the packaging. Buying any product should not have to involve undue guesswork.

These treats made both of my close to senior dogs gain so much weight. Like 11 lbs on one of them ! Researching more and there treats have over 50,000 calories in them. That is ridiculous. Will be throwing the rest away. Do not waste your money. These are way to caloric for any dog unless you are needing weight gain.

I have been buying these for my dog a little over a year. Started noticing the bags the last few months had an odor and the color of the chicken jerky treats were getting darker. Bag purchaed this past weekend gave my dog really smelly gas and diarrea. Threw 3lb bag in the trash after 2 he had treats got him sick. So disappointed!

The new chicken jerky they are selling smells terrible. My dogs still eat them, but they loved the old type. The old type smelled like yummy chicken when i opened the bag. This one smells like stinky feet and old cheese. I won't be buying any more of this new brand.
