Cannot open freezer door
We bought the refrigerator in March 2024 for our vacation home and recently we run into the issue that we cannot open the freezer door. One pattern to reproduce the issue is: open the freezer door, close it, and we will not be able to open it again right away. After a while and try again, the door can be opened again. It is quite weird.

Uncleanable shelf but everything else is great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BEWARE: There is a component in the fridge above the bottom drawers that you CANNOT remove. We spilt something forever ago and spent 5 hours watching youtube videos, surfing reddit, and looking at samsung's website and there is no way to remove the shelf to clean it. The glass isn't sealed so liquid dripping gets stuck forever. Other than that, the water dispenser and shelf sizes for both the doors and inside are great. Love the dual ice maker and never seem to run out. Would love if they created a way to clean the shelf.

Cooling failure after 2.5 years; good support
We really like the look of this fridge and the integrated water pitcher and quick access door. Its got great storage (its massive). No issues the first 2 and 1/2 years but then started having cooling problems in the freezer. Soft ice cream, no ice being made. We initially attributed the problem to perhaps someone leaving the freezer door ajar. Eventually determined fridge and freezer was not cooling properly. Samsung sent out a tech right away and he determined there was an internal coolant leak and it can't be fixed. The tech refilled the coolant and the fridge worked partially for a few more days but same problem returned. He also noted that he has seen at least one other fridge with the same problem. Perhaps a assembly issue in the early models? The fridge app did eventually raise an alert as well that there was a cooling problem (but only after 1 week of failing to cool). Samsung support was outstanding in facilitating a full store credit. I'd rather just have the working fridge but they did get us a credit in order to order a new one and the process only took about 1 week. I hate the idea of a $2k 2.5 year old fridge being scrapped for waste. I wish it could have been repaired.

DO NOT BUY!
I love the size of this refrigerator but when it came time to clean, the glass shelving will not separate from the frame to clean. When something has spilled (I.e.,Dr. pepper), the liquid seeps between the glass and frame to create a dirty look. Also, the shelving is almost IMPOSSIBLE to remove and re-insert. The most user-UNFRIENDLY refrigerator I have ever seen or owned. I wish Samsung would make this right for me and the others who are trying to find a solution. Apparently the person who designed this never had to clean a refrigerator!

Disappointed
Have this model for almost 2 years, average performance. It cools okay but the maintaining it is the pits. If you are particular with cleanliness do not get this. It is impossible to properly clean if something spills, you cannot remove the glass from its plastic casings and colored liquids get trapped forever. Filter needs frequent expensive replacement. Also my pitcher cracked and there is no replacement available...

Careful with serial breakdowns

Compressor and Condenser failure within one month?
So excited to buy this refrigerator and I was planning to also purchase a new Samsung stove UNTIL a catastrophic failure within one month of ownership. I'll even forgive RXO for scratching the door. Samsung gave us a small rebate for that. But when I woke up exactly 7 days ago to a warm refrigerator and freezer it became a week long nightmare of bad customer service, living out of a cooler and throwing away spoiled food, and spending $100 in ice. Luckily my meat and fish found a home in a neighbors freezer. This was really unacceptable. How about sending a new refrigerator. But no. If it is fixable we will fix it. It happened on a Friday so they said someone will be there Tuesday. I was told Tuesday since they would have to order all parts possible for a seal system issue. On Tuesday they found the condenser was defective from the factory. But they didn't bring one. They just brought a compressor. So two more days to wait. Today it was finally fixed and hopefully it doesn't break in another month. Why would I want to ever buy another Samsung appliance if this happens? Reliability is now an issue for me. I also want to be reimbursed for all the ice and spoiled food I lost. If I can get through to someone to even complain. Do you really think it is ok to let someone not have a major appliance for 7 days? Tell me why I should trust your brand anymore? So disappointed.

Fridge works great
We've had this fridge for over a year now and couldn't be happier with it. Everything has worked flawlessly—no issues at all. The autofill pitcher is one of our favorite features and gets daily use. The ice maker is excellent, and we love having two different ice sizes to choose from. Both the fridge and freezer offer plenty of capacity for our needs. Overall, it's been a perfect fit for us, and we really don't have any complaints.
Pitcher is a game changer
After a bunch of research and alot of digging I bought this. At first i had 0 intentions of buying a samsung fridge as in my experience they had alot of issues with ice makers and such. After doing a bunch of research I watched a bunch of YouTube videos and purchased the 3 door bespoke fridge without Beverage center (just the regular pitcher) and I can say with all honesty this is hands down one of the best items ive ever purchased! The pitcher is a game changer and two different sizes of ice is nice but overall the fridge in general is absolutely amazing! I did not get countertop depth as I didnt need it. There is a ton of room! Repairability is a huge part for me and there is a ton of info from repair people on YouTube explaining why this new design is nothing like the old style! Panels are replaceable on their own. Ice maker is a much better design and the freaking pitcher is what made the whole thing worth while! The stainless is great and doesn't leave marks as much as I thought it would. Cleans super easy and the delivery i thought would be an issue as my kitchen is small. They came at the time expected. They placed it, Connected it, cleaned up and made sure everything was to our satisfaction in about 1/4 of the time i expected them to take. I'm writing this review about 4 months after purchase and im not paid for this nor did I receive any discount for this review I just honestly love this fridge so much I had to come on and write one. Well done samsung! Well done indeed!
Pretty, but problematic!
I have the RF30BB660012. The best part of this refrigerator is the double section in the freezer. Customers need to know that you have to continually pull the ice forward or you won't get a full load of ice. In the refrigerator section - The lack of ability to move shelves into more positions was the first thing we had to deal with. There's a tiny shelf in the refrigerator that is absolutely useless as it is a little over 1 inch wide and a few inches long. It's on the door by the beverage center. Cleaning the shelves is impossible. All current videos on Youtube show a different version. There are no clips. The bottom shelf doesn't even come out so you can't clean thoroughly. It would be okay, but none of the glass in this unit come out and the plastic around it isn't sealed so all spills go between. If you like a clean fridge this one isn't for you. At $2G+ in price, I'd pass if I knew all of this. I miss my 1980's refrigerator.
