As this is a thicker flooring than most on the market, it can be more difficult to click because it isn’t as flexible as thinner laminates. However, our laminate flooring has an advanced SpeedLoc™ system that should allow for easy installation. As for the edges, it should not break unless you force it or tap it with weight and pressure. So an incident with large amounts of water may cause damage to any laminate floor, such as chipping and peeling. Hello, Our SpillDefense laminate is 14 mm thick. Because our laminates are thicker than most, it can be a bit more difficult to click because it isn't as flexible as thinner laminates on the market. If your laminate is coming apart after a couple of months, there might be an installation issue.
