So an incident with large amounts of water may cause damage to any laminate floor, such as chipping and peeling. Hello, Our SpillDefense laminate is 14 mm thick. Because our laminates are thicker than most, it can be a bit more difficult to click because it isn't as flexible as thinner laminates on the market. If your laminate is coming apart after a couple of months, there might be an installation issue. We always recommend watching the installation video on our website, as well as carefully reading the installation guide before starting.
