We purchased this as a cheaper alternative to the brand we usually buy (also a chicken and rice mix), but unfortunately it didn’t work out. This food made our dogs sick. We understand that pets often need time to adjust when switching foods, but this was different — our dogs went several days without eating at all. It may work fine for other pets, but I’d recommend introducing it in very small portions at first to see how your animal reacts.

The dog seems to like it fine. I've not tried it personally.

We have bought this food for our dog for 10+ years but the last bag we bought must have been a bad batch. Incredible digestive problems right after we opened the new bag...solved when we stopped using it. Q!uality control problem caused us to lose faith in this product.
