When you compare this food nutritionally to its counterpart, this food is spot on for dogs. My little terrier licks his chops every time before dinner when he sees this food being fed to the two other dogs, because he can’t wait for his turn to be fed. Not sure why it’s unavailable, but please bring back.

My dog enjoys this dogfood very much, although she's not a picky eater. If I could afford to feed her meat or a quality canned food rather than kibble I'd feed her that, but this seems to be as good or slightly better than any other kibble dog food.

Like the other reviewer says, this used to be a 40 lb bag so I'm extremely disappointed with the trickery. As a dog food, my dog greatly enjoys it. When I switched her over, her excrement odor almost went completely away. She is healthy and when she's not dirty, her coat shines beautifully.

2 dogs we tried this with. It has been a nightmare in short. For months and even 2 different batches of food one or both dog experienced issues. At first I didn't realize it was the dog food because we had battled giardia and other buggies but it clicked even after treating them both dogs threw up or had diarrhea. Switched them both completely off of it and eventually started them back on it slowly and gradually. Few days go by and we're right back where we started with diarrhea and throwing up. So thats it. 2 stars is probably too generous but it's not working for us.

I sent two emails stating that my order was damaged inside the box it was delivered in and did not get a reply. I threw out the food as I did not know if it was contaminated. I am very disapointed that I have been ignored. Bad business practice as I have been a loyal customer for many years.

We have bought this exact brand and flavor of dog food for several years now and this last time something must be different. (Maybe a bad batch? Maybe they changed something?) Our dogs are not picky dogs. One will eat trash if its left unattended, another eats toilet paper off the roll like a fruit roll up, and they both will go after any stick outside. They both wouldn't touch this bag. I'm just glad it was the food and not something health related to our pups!

Dog food for all ages is what made me start buying this product. I have two rescue dogs and their age is the big question. I don’t have to worry about having puppy food or adult food. The dogs love this food and it doesn’t cause belly aches when other dogs come to visit and eat their food without a transition. The only issue with this food is sometimes my Sam’s club is completely out of it. So now I buy two bags. When I get down to one bag I go and get another.

Seems to be okay. They were originally using the Members Mark Salmon & Pea recipe until it was recalled then we switched to Members Mark chicken and rice and it was recalled also! In desperation we went to blue buffalo chicken & rice recipe at a much higher price. Now Sam’s is again offering chicken & rice, but this time it is brown rice. The dog food looks almost identical to the blue buffalo brand but lacking the additional small brown pieces that were on the blue buffalo recipe. All in all, it seems satisfactory, especially for the price.

Best food!! My older dogs 12 & 14 simply love it and thrive on this food…. The kibbles though not tiny have the correct texture for them to easily enjoy. No crappy fillers or dyes… Simply wholesome. I simply trust this above anything else and I have had dogs all my life.

My dog loves this better than any dog food I have bought him so far! The last food I used was Rachel Rays and Pedigree. Those he would wait until 10pm before he would eat it all. This food he gobbles it down as soon as it touches the bowl! He eats it like it's a treat lol. In fact he stops at the top of the stairs and drools like a waterfall waiting for me to take it to his bowl. Anyways I highly recommend this!
