We purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 3 year old son. Being a notorious DIY guy, my wife was concerned that I would never be able to get it together let alone in a timely manner. The instructions make it easy as does the hardware. I and my dad were able to get it together in a single December day. My son absolutely loves it and has gotten hours of enjoyment and exercise from it. This is by far one of the best outdoor sets on the market.

Very happy with the purchase. The assembly was very easy , all the parts and hardware was labeled and the directions were spot on and easy to follow. All the pieces lined up perfect. Don’t think I ever bought something that had instructions that good. This is a very heavy duty play set that will last a long time. I’m going to seal it also as they recommend. I will buy again from Backyard Discovery.

Easy to build but organize all the parts first, goes a lot better, align to see the labels on the end. Be aware of all the holes even the very small holes orientation when building each section. Later if the parts are flipped it cannot be easily taken back apart if at all, you will have to drill holes to fix it. It's a very solid and strong building when completed. You have to stand up in it to put the roof and top on so you will need someone light weight enough to do that. Me and wife did it and we weigh around 325lbs together for short amount time to get it done, but I don't recommend it. Limit is 150lbs per person. The roof screws are a little challenging, from inside to out, not much room unless you angle upward to install them, but the holes are predrilled. It is a tight space. For just one or two persons install it can take couple days to complete it. The hardware is good quality, and all the packs are marked in the order you will use them. You end up with some extra parts. Some of the fasteners where not usable but they were extra parts in the end.

Over the summer my 11 month old learned and is able to independently climb the ladder. Both my girls love to climb which is why we selected this swing set. It’s a neighborhood hit. The swings are perfect for our family. I did buy an extra baby swing to attach for the little one. We have NO shade in our new build neighborhood so the direct sun did take a beating on this and it will need to be stained next spring which is why I deducted one star because that’s another thing to have to maintenance but otherwise we LOVE this swingset. As far as assembly. My husband and FIL took about 16-18 hours over two days to put it together but they were very organized with laying out all the parts in the garage on folding tables. The instructions were very clear but there are a lot of parts. Other friends who have a similar swingset spent almost double the time due to lack of organization so take the hour to get organized and set up first.

It's not a fast slide so it's easy for littles to control their own speed! She loves the swings and the rope wall and everything! Years of adventures await!

We put this together for Christmas and our 4 kids ages 9-18 months all love playing on it. It has a good amount of features and isn’t too small for the bigger kids to have fun. It also doesn’t have a huge footprint. It’s made our backyard a neighborhood hang out spot. We didn’t find set up to be horrible but we also put it together over about a week or so.

i’m so excited to receive my backyard discovery playset! My kids are going to love it and although I haven’t yet, I wanted to review how easy the process was to obtain a straight price . A different playset vendor required me to submit all my info for a “quote”. Backyard Discovery posted the price without the hassle of having to listen to a salesman pitch. Saved me time and money!

I would not recommend purchasing this swing set. We may have gotten unlucky with ours but the whole set moves way too much when the kids are swinging and playing. It is also very noisy. I have reached out for help and sent videos in and was told this was within standards. We are disappointed with our purchase.

We recently purchased the Endeavor II for our granddaughter, a birthday present. We opted to save some money and put it together ourselves, since we are kind of handy.
