DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER! Had less than 3 years, and 2 months ago, DRYER wouldn't dry, but it would turn on. Warranty expired. Had a repair guy out.. replaced 2 thermostats and $285 invoice. Today, exactly 2 mos after the thermostats were replaced, THE SAME THING HAPPENED .. Won't dry, but will turn on. i have wet clothes and waiting on repair guy to arrive! This is a CRAP DRYER. The matching washer isn't any better. Within a month of owning it, it started leaking all over the utility floor. THAT was covered under warranty, and a New one was delivered to replace it. The spin cycle is so dramatic, it makes the washing machine "dance", knocking into the dryer! it's awful. I've had to fold a towel and wedge betwern appliances to keep them from getting damaged! DO NOT BUY! YOU'LL ONLY HAVE HEADACHES!!

Mine broke in the first year because the engineers designed it with a small pulley system, The service guy showed us how cheaply it was made and the problems that persist with this design. One of the more expensive systems they make and the service guy said they are made to break to replace within 4 yrs. We have had to buy in every 4 yr of the past because they cannot handle the use. Sadd........

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved the machine for its performance and many personalized options and interior light. Whet we found to be extremely annoying is the music played at the end of each load, we can not figure out how to turn it off.

Takes over two hours to dry sheets because it twists and balls them up into a heavy solid mass. Doesn't matter what setting you put it on -- bulky items, bedding -- or if you you dryer balls or not, or if we put in just a few items -- just one set of sheets. It is just a very bad technology and is extremely wasteful.

BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY OR DO NOT BUY THIS APPLIANCE!! Purchased this gas smart Samsung dryer in white 9/22/2022. Today, 7/17/2025 less than 3 years old and warranty expired, it doesn't work😳😏😤😡! It turns on, I can see digital read for cycle time, but the drum doesn't turn when I select Start. Nothing happens. Went on line to samsung to schedule repair.. ticket created... after more than 6 hours, i canceled the ticket bc no contact from samsung. Scheduled local appliance co to repair/fix... this machine has a fix cost of $145-$250!
