I selected this as a Christmas present for three of my grandchildren, the youngest of which is 6 months old. I wanted something that would last and had enough swings and other features to accommodate and entertain all 3 of them at the same time. I was impressed by not only the features but also the product description, as it sounded like it would withstand the test of time and could be easily relocated if they were to move. I was not disappointed in any respect (and I had a great day with my son-in-law, putting it together). Assembly was easy and straightforward (the anchors are a bit of a challenge to get into the ground) and the kids just went crazy when we announced that the swing was ready for business. Their joy was the kind that made for one of those great Christmas moments.

Given I just completed setting up the playset, my review is limited to delivery, directions and assembly. Delivery: Delivered promptly by a very professional driver from Old Dominion. The set comes in one large wooden crate. He unloaded the crate and placed it on a pallet jack then wheeled it in to my garage. Directions: Easy to follow. The directions were accurate and a highly recommended full read before you begin assembly. Setup: I assembled most the playset by myself with some help from my wife when balancing a few things during assembly. The assembly time of 4-6 hours is fairly accurate. The playset includes 2 anchors for the A-frame. I ordered a set of 4 anchors direct from Lifetime for $50 and used them to anchor the monkey bars. While maybe not necessary, the unit seems very stable with 6 anchors. Overall: The playset seems very well constructed and hopefully will last for a number of years.

We bought the Monkey Bar Adventure Swing Set (Earthtone) at the end of March and got it delivered mid-April. I am trying to capture my experience as a whole hoping it will help whoever is still deciding on this. Ordering (5 stars): We ordered directly from Lifetime's site and the ordering was very straight forward. Received a confirmation email with the order number and other details right after. Shipping (4.5 stars): It did take about 10 business days for the order to ship. So don't get discouraged if you don't receive the shipping notification as soon as you order it. Once the item was shipped, we received a tracking number with the name of the shipping company. I tracked the order everyday and it showed a earliest delivery date on the site. I called the shipping company and they told me to contact the residential delivery team as they usually hand it over to them. I called the residential delivery team two days later and was able to schedule the delivery the next available date. This entire process however moved the delivery date by 5 days from the date shown on the tracking site. I was in a hurry as this was to be a birthday gift for our 6 year old and wanted to get it installed before. Delivery(5 stars): The playset was delivered right on time on the agreed date. There were thre long boxes and the slide neatly packed on the pallet. The driver was kind enough to place it close to the garage. I was able to slide the boxes out of the pallet by myself and there were no visible damages to any of them. Installation (5 stars): I did almost all of the steps myself ( 5'9 - 180 lb) with my wife's help towards the end. All the materials were nicely packed and labeled. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I laid out the parts next to the installation site and followed the instructions very carefully. I only used hand tools (the two Allen keys it came with) and tried very hard to not to over-tighten the bolts. However I did slightly over-tighten the Monkey bar tubes and I could see that the bolt was pushing the tube in. This made the end cap installation very difficult as the end of those bars weren't round anymore. But with a rubber mallet I was able to push the end caps in its place. Some helpful hints if you are not already aware. ** Do not use power tools unless it is necessary. ** Please do not fully tighten the bolts unless the instructions call for it , or after the complete installation. ** There are no spare nuts or bolts , so keep them safe ** I had two bolts break on me during the installation and luckily I was able to use the nuts from the fire pole accessory pack and did not install the fire pole (ordered the parts and waiting for it to be delivered) ** The playset needs to be on a levelled lot when you attach the swing bar to the monkey bar assembly. The holes wont line up if they are not. I end up using some lumbar and folded cardboard to level the two parts and then put the screws in. Quality (5 stars): This is a very durable playset. Though it was a little concerning to see the tubes bending a little when you overtighten the bolts but they are heavy enough already and making them even heavier will drive the cost up. However this also proved that the bolts are as strong as the set and will hold things in place without a doubt. There was no visible scratches on the paint but I did see some discoloration here are there. I have asked for the touch up paint and planning to cover the area when I have them. With proper maintenance, I have no doubt this set will last for years to come. Support (5 stars): As two of the bolts broke during the installation, I had emailed the support email address requesting replacement parts. After waiting for a couple of days , decided to use the chat feature and "Kyle" was kind enough to help me order the parts and the touch up paint that I needed. I am not sure when it will be delivered yet but when it does, I am looking to set up the pole right away. Overall - 5 Stars - Our boys (6 and 3 and a half) have loads of fun on this set and it is slim enough to not to make our yard to look like a commercial playground. We are spending a lot of time on this playset and so are the kids from our street. Thank you Lifetime !

I put most of this together myself, and had all the major large pieces ready for my husband and I to do together. Instruction manual was super easy to follow. Only one little hiccup but was operator error im sure 😊. The quality of this swing set is amazing! Very top notch.

We have a 2, 3 and 5 year old. The swings are great for the little ones. I do wish they would make them further apart. The 2 year old has a hard time getting up the slide stairs because there are no handles to help her get up. The other 2 had an issue adjusting, but are pretty used to it now. It is 9 feet so, a little high, but really fun. I would say this swing set is more for 5 years and up. Within 2 weeks of having it, my 5 year old could get across the monkey bars. We did not have to anchor it. It is very sturdy and very well made. The kids who come over love it too. It's a winner in our yard! They play on it everyday. We did have issues with delivery because the semi weighed too much, so I had to get a truck to go pick it up. It was packed well in a wooden crate. It hung out of the pickup, but it was heavy enough to stay put. (435lbs).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great playground! The installation was very easy especially using the YouTube version of the instructions. I did have 2 bolts come cross threaded and snapped when I tried to use them so I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store but it was an easy fix. Our daughter loves playing on it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy, compact, tons of fun. Great colorful play set! The instructions were very clear with pictures and close ups. Very easy to understand. They also have video instructions. The booklet was good enough so I didn't even try that part but it was nice to know it was an option. The hardware packets are well organized and it tells you what packet you will be using. It took about a half a day to get it all set up. Our kids have loved it. The swings are definitely the favorite for our kids, they feel well built and comfortable! The kids don't like to play gentle with things and it is very sturdy. We had two big kids and a little one swinging at the same time and it didn't budge at all, like some others we've used. I like that it is fairly compact given all the different things it has. It's a great addition to our backyard!

There is an instructional video on how to assemble the swing set, but I found the instructions in the manual to be clear and easy to follow. The best part of assembly was the fact that even though they reused the same sized bolts on different portions of the swing set, it was divided into clear and concise groups to go with the parts that were being assembled. I was able to do it in a several hours. We absolutely love the colors we chose, they are bright and cheerful! We also enjoy that there are multiple swings to be able to be used at the same time and nobody has to wait.

Very well built and hardy swing set. My kiddos love it. Built to last and instructions were very easy to follow.

Lifetime makes wonderful products. By purchasing on line I had it delivered to me free and saved 400 dollars in the process. You can't find that anywhere but Sams.
