My husband and I purchased and set up this playground set, with intermittent help from our younger daughter. for our 5 year old granddaughter (gd). It took about 1 entire day, mind you, the "feels like" temperature was 100. We had beem excitedly awaiting the arrival, but not as excited as our gd. It arrived about about a week earlier than its original delivery date. The "assembly instructions" video was very helpful and my husband followed them precisely. It looked just like the one advertised, except, we were expecting one with the earthtone color. I don't remember choosing the multi-colored one, which is the other option. The first to try the swings, was our gd, of course. Then my daughter (her mom) and i joined her on the swings. The first thing I noticed, was that the swings were swinging to close together and i was afraid we were going to hit each other. So we removed the middle swing. It was disappointing, but safer. The length was about right, but then i noticed that we wouldn't be able to adjust the chains if we wanted or needed to. The chains have a silicone cast. On to the trapeze/gym bar. That was one of the attachments my gd was looking forward to. Too bad she wasn't tall enough to swing her legs over the way she was looking forward to since she had seen children doing on the promotional video. The fireman's pole was kind of hard for her reach since the ladder is kind of set in an inconvenient way. Then there's the slide. As you get to the slide from the monkey bar, or climb the ladder, there's a bar at the top that my gd hit her head on. She wanted to try the monkey bars. She was afraid to, and asked me to hold her while she let her feet off the ladder. I did, and she fell, (dead weight), almost hitting her head on the leg of the swing set. I guess this swing set is better for older, more experienced kids like it shows on the promotional video. The swings are only real safe attachment where my gd doesn't need constant supervision, which im not able to provide. My daughter, the mom, has 2 herniated discs and the dad just had surgery on a completely torn minuscus. Both are receiving therapy, so they won't be able to assist my gd anytime soon. I'm considering returning the playground set, but my husband already discarded all the packaging that it came in, not to mention, disassembling the playground. At $1400, w/tax, i hope we can get something worked out. I wouldn't mind keeping the swing side. We assembled the set yesterday, Saturday, and i tried calling the seller/manufacturer number, but they were closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monkey bar adventure swing set is amazing! We love how simple yet entertaining it is. We have 3 kids ages 9, 6 and 3 and this swing set has something for all ages. We love that this set has 3 swings! Our 3 year old loves the slide and swing. Our 9 year old is obsessed with the monkey bars and our 6 year old loves the trapeze bar and fireman's pole. It truly is great for a wide variety of ages. My husband and I can even swing comfortably. The swing set took my husband 3 hours to assemble. He said it was a very simple process. The swing set does not take up a ton of room in our yard and is more compact than some of the other swing sets lifetime offers. The swing set is very well made and will defiantly last many many years! We chose the earth tone colors and are thrilled they have color options. We love that it's not to bright or flashy in our yard. If you are looking for a swing set I'd defiantly recommend this set! Like I said it's simple compact and has TONS to offer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this set has already been fun for our boys ages 8-16. Boxes are large so be sure to have a truck and man power to transport. Upon ordering our set, we were provided with a youtube video, however we found we did not need the video because the instruction manual was perfect and parts were labeled correctly and set up went smoothly. We were able to get our Monkey bar adventure set up in less than 5 hours, you do need 2 people as there is some lifting involved while trying to get the pieces secured together. It is a heavy duty set and we're hopeful it will last us for quite a while. The only issues we ran into were the bolt/nuts that hold the set together were at times difficult to get to line up when under a load, so again 2 people are best. Also, there are a few black plastic plugs that fill in some holes that as we were moving parts they fell out and we were unable to find them, we will need to keep an eye on those holes to avoid wasps from making nests. Lastly, again my boys are ages 8-16 and when swinging on the swings, the legs do lift a little, not enough to make me fear the set toppling over (it's very heavy) but enough that we might add straps to secure it down to ensure it doesn't move. Overall the pros to this set out-weigh the few cons we've had so far and we are excited the weather is starting to warm up so we can get out there and use it more!!

Quality construction and easy installation - less than 2-person @ 4 hr. All parts clearly identified and simple step-by-step instructions. Very stable.

I often don’t review products, but I felt it was necessary in this case. This playground was literally thrown across our yard during hurricane Helene in WNC. And even though it was several years old at this point, it was able to be put back right side up and somehow was still in perfect condition.

It came bundled on one pallet, about 2.5' x 2.5' x 10'. The driver backed up and unloaded it to garage. With the help of 11 yr old grandson it took about 7 hours to assemble. Everything fit together very precise and tight, so that actually, for a few fasteners, effort was required to line things up. Fasteners are a very unique design, resulting in only exponsed part being a big rounded nut, with allen wrench used to tighten. When 10 yr old grandchild swings hard, legs lift a little off ground, so may need to fasten it to a stake in ground. But it seems to do well even with 10, 7, and 5 year old all using it at once.

I put most of this together myself, and had all the major large pieces ready for my husband and I to do together. Instruction manual was super easy to follow. Only one little hiccup but was operator error im sure 😊. The quality of this swing set is amazing! Very top notch.

Bought this for grandkids, was extremely pleased with the sturdiness, quality and design! Easy to assemble as well, great instructions, and very fair price for this great swingset. We had the delivery company put it on our truck, and then husband drove the truck to the back yard. As adults we love to swing too, and it is sturdy enough for that. LIFETIME did this right all the way!

We bought the Monkey Bar Adventure Swing Set (Earthtone) at the end of March and got it delivered mid-April. I am trying to capture my experience as a whole hoping it will help whoever is still deciding on this. Ordering (5 stars): We ordered directly from Lifetime's site and the ordering was very straight forward. Received a confirmation email with the order number and other details right after. Shipping (4.5 stars): It did take about 10 business days for the order to ship. So don't get discouraged if you don't receive the shipping notification as soon as you order it. Once the item was shipped, we received a tracking number with the name of the shipping company. I tracked the order everyday and it showed a earliest delivery date on the site. I called the shipping company and they told me to contact the residential delivery team as they usually hand it over to them. I called the residential delivery team two days later and was able to schedule the delivery the next available date. This entire process however moved the delivery date by 5 days from the date shown on the tracking site. I was in a hurry as this was to be a birthday gift for our 6 year old and wanted to get it installed before. Delivery(5 stars): The playset was delivered right on time on the agreed date. There were thre long boxes and the slide neatly packed on the pallet. The driver was kind enough to place it close to the garage. I was able to slide the boxes out of the pallet by myself and there were no visible damages to any of them. Installation (5 stars): I did almost all of the steps myself ( 5'9 - 180 lb) with my wife's help towards the end. All the materials were nicely packed and labeled. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I laid out the parts next to the installation site and followed the instructions very carefully. I only used hand tools (the two Allen keys it came with) and tried very hard to not to over-tighten the bolts. However I did slightly over-tighten the Monkey bar tubes and I could see that the bolt was pushing the tube in. This made the end cap installation very difficult as the end of those bars weren't round anymore. But with a rubber mallet I was able to push the end caps in its place. Some helpful hints if you are not already aware. ** Do not use power tools unless it is necessary. ** Please do not fully tighten the bolts unless the instructions call for it , or after the complete installation. ** There are no spare nuts or bolts , so keep them safe ** I had two bolts break on me during the installation and luckily I was able to use the nuts from the fire pole accessory pack and did not install the fire pole (ordered the parts and waiting for it to be delivered) ** The playset needs to be on a levelled lot when you attach the swing bar to the monkey bar assembly. The holes wont line up if they are not. I end up using some lumbar and folded cardboard to level the two parts and then put the screws in. Quality (5 stars): This is a very durable playset. Though it was a little concerning to see the tubes bending a little when you overtighten the bolts but they are heavy enough already and making them even heavier will drive the cost up. However this also proved that the bolts are as strong as the set and will hold things in place without a doubt. There was no visible scratches on the paint but I did see some discoloration here are there. I have asked for the touch up paint and planning to cover the area when I have them. With proper maintenance, I have no doubt this set will last for years to come. Support (5 stars): As two of the bolts broke during the installation, I had emailed the support email address requesting replacement parts. After waiting for a couple of days , decided to use the chat feature and "Kyle" was kind enough to help me order the parts and the touch up paint that I needed. I am not sure when it will be delivered yet but when it does, I am looking to set up the pole right away. Overall - 5 Stars - Our boys (6 and 3 and a half) have loads of fun on this set and it is slim enough to not to make our yard to look like a commercial playground. We are spending a lot of time on this playset and so are the kids from our street. Thank you Lifetime !

We had a family day today putting it together. It only took 2 hours with 3 men. My husband was impressed because he really thought it would take all day. The only thing he found wrong with it, is the bolts are what he calls “soft” and said if we ever had to take it down, they would more than likely break off. Not planning on taking it down anytime soon though. Grandkids had a ball on it!
