We enjoy our new swing immensely! We like that it is cedarwood & plan on putting a clear, marine coat of Minwax on it eventually. We bought heavy-duty hardware from the Amish store to hang the swing.

Have had the swing several months. Took time to put together, correctly. Instructions well done. Great memories of similar swing growing up. Sitting, swinging, and talking with loved ones. Open view to my rose garden, with shade. My meditation site and bird watching station. Glad I purchased the swing.

I was looking for a Father's Day gift for my Dad and decided on this swing because he likes to sit out on his porch and watch the birds in his feeders. I had it shipped directly to his home and when my brother and I went to visit, were able to install in a matter of hours. I was impressed with how sturdy the swing is. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that several of the drilled holes were mis-matched, but that was an easy fix. This swing will provided many hours of enjoyment.

I couldn’t find a swing that I loved until I came across this simple, but beautiful swing from Backyard Discovery! My husband was able to put it together in an afternoon with no trouble. I can already tell that it’s very durable, and know we’ll be enjoying it for years to come. The quality is even better than I imagined, and the color is perfect! Our swing has been up for about 8 months and it is the perfect addition to our back yard. It is classic and very sturdy. I sit and swing every time I go outside- my young daughter asked me today why I swing every single time we go outside! I told her it’s peaceful and relaxing, and she always likes to join me (so I think she agrees).

Everything about this purchase exceeded my expectations. Shipped in four days! I don’t think I could have bought the wood and hardware from a lumberyard this cheap and I didn’t have to cut a thing! The pre-drilled holes were spot on and the wood is thick enough that it should last a long time. Instructions are easy to follow and they even include bits so you can use a drill if you choose. We are very happy with this porch swing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as my swing arrived I knew it was perfect and promptly ordered 2 more to complete our project. These were in full sun all summer long in Utah heat so I knew they'd need to be treated each year to keep them looking great. Love the black chain which has kept it's color even with a ton of use. The angle of the back is supportive and comfortable. My only complaint is we do have some splitting of the wood. Not just one but all three so that's disappointing and I am worried about the longevity because of that. The price was great and I would purchase again.
