I assembled this myself on my flat basement floor in about 2 hours. The cedar is dry and lightweight. 2 pieces did not have the part # stamped on them but was not hard to figure out through the process of elimination. All the predrilled holes surprisingly lined up. Only the 4 back cross pieces are not predrilled (20 screws). We’ll see how the chain wears on the holes in the armrests. Metal grommets would have been better hence not a 10 rating. I also had to order the overhead mounting hardware for the chains separately. I seems odd that they wouldn’t be included. Otherwise, I’m happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as my swing arrived I knew it was perfect and promptly ordered 2 more to complete our project. These were in full sun all summer long in Utah heat so I knew they'd need to be treated each year to keep them looking great. Love the black chain which has kept it's color even with a ton of use. The angle of the back is supportive and comfortable. My only complaint is we do have some splitting of the wood. Not just one but all three so that's disappointing and I am worried about the longevity because of that. The price was great and I would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Beautiful Backyard Discovery porch swing in September for my birthday. It is beautiful! Very sturdy, it came in just a few days and all the pieces were in the box. I love it! My husband and I sit on it and watch the deer.

Our swing has been up for about 8 months and it is the perfect addition to our back yard. It is classic and very sturdy. I sit and swing every time I go outside- my young daughter asked me today why I swing every single time we go outside! I told her it’s peaceful and relaxing, and she always likes to join me (so I think she agrees).

I couldn’t find a swing that I loved until I came across this simple, but beautiful swing from Backyard Discovery! My husband was able to put it together in an afternoon with no trouble. I can already tell that it’s very durable, and know we’ll be enjoying it for years to come. The quality is even better than I imagined, and the color is perfect! We’ve loved having a little spot where the two of us can sit together on our porch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love our swing. We decided to hang it under our deck. This way we have shade during the day and can gaze at the stars in the evenings. We enjoy reading, swinging and relaxing with one another’s company. Our daughter likes it so much her hubby is surprising her with one for Christmas. Thank you Backyard Discovery for making such a well-built, sturdy swing we can enjoy for years to come. We look forward to purchasing other products from you.

Have had the swing several months. Took time to put together, correctly. Instructions well done. Great memories of similar swing growing up. Sitting, swinging, and talking with loved ones. Open view to my rose garden, with shade. My meditation site and bird watching station. Glad I purchased the swing.

Everything about this purchase exceeded my expectations. Shipped in four days! I don’t think I could have bought the wood and hardware from a lumberyard this cheap and I didn’t have to cut a thing! The pre-drilled holes were spot on and the wood is thick enough that it should last a long time. Instructions are easy to follow and they even include bits so you can use a drill if you choose. We are very happy with this porch swing!

We bought 3 of the swings and they are beautiful! Putting them together took some time but instructions and labeling were clear and simple. Two of the wooden pieces had some small cracks and we called customer service about it. They answered the phone right away and shipped replacement pieces to us the next day. We are very happy with this purchase and the company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only is this thing a looker, but built really well and there is nothing my kids love more than to sit outside on those beautiful evenings and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. Thanks Backyard Discovery for a great product! One that will last for the ages.
