And that was pretty much the beginning. The salesperson started to talk about the specks and the fact that it included the new steam technology, and I didn't need to think further to make this purchase happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer after our previous dryer gave up the ghost (after about 2 years - motherboard went out). We have several Samsung products that use everyday, so we figured why not, right? Excellent choice (pat ourselves on the back)! We love everything about this dryer. We initially joked about the WiFi, but jokes on us cuz we use regularly! Haven't used the steam function yet, plan to when we're in the new house and the washer/dryer are side-by-side. Right now the face each other in the walkthrough laundry room. I even love the color and will get matching washer when current one fails us - probably with a full load that is in soak mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer needs a lil bit of work.... it does a great job of drying the clothes on the automated cycle, the second time you set it. It doesn't sense that the clothes are still wet the first time after you put the clothes in from the washing machine. I know it's not a venting issue, because I just installed this washer/dryer and I ran all new duct work up and out the vent. It's a "sensing" issue. The dryer is supposed to only dry till the sensors detect that there's no moisture left in the clothing. That's not working right. The second time, after the first 39 minute cycle is done, dries the clothing perfectly. I'm not done troubleshooting this issue yet, but I'll report back when I fix it.

Finally able to wash & dry our king/queen comforters at home without having to go to the mat. They fit perfectly into our Stackable laundry closet and the platinum is really sleek. Has lots of options that we haven't learned to use yet, and who knows if we even will! I'm a Samsung user (phone, tv, and now washer) so its great being able to connect everything in one hub. So if I dont hear the chime, I'll get a notification on my TV and/or phone letting me know.

Not only did I get an amazing deal but I also ended up saving way more than I thought I was. The appliance helped me save a lot on my utility bill in water and electricity. I also really love how quiet the product is compared to mY old one.

I wish you had the option of Propane installed prior to delivery but even that conversion from NG was not hard. The different options are nice, it dries well and fast. Hoping it lasts for many years

We’ve had this dryer just over 6 months and it already stopped working. Panel no longer lights up or is usable. We reset the breaker checked power cord and nothing. We financed this through Samsung because of the great deal with no intrest so we haven’t even paid this thing off yet! Wish we had just spent the money on a repair man to fix our old non electric panel dryer that lasted 10 years and only cost us 500 bucks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this new Samsung to replace our old Samsung which was about 13 year old. The old one had developed a continuous banging noise that certainly was going to lead to a failure. So, we proactively bought new. This new machine makes a banging noise in transition between speeds that literally sounds like a jackhammer. It has frightened my daughters when they are in a different level in the house! It significantly (2x) louder than our old one. Some cycles we don't hear much noise, some loads are louder than others. We have not been able to associate with with a type of load (towels, or just t-shirts). We will be contacting service to have them come out and take a look. I expect them do say it's normal. Very unhappy with the noise level, to the point we may just write it off financially has a mistake. The machine is level side to side and back to back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace an 11-year-old Samsung dryer that had served us well, but was a little too old to justify repairing. The performance is a nice step up, and the dryer is working beautifully for all of our drying needs. I've got a couple of nits to pick - none of them showstoppers, but just FYI: - The end of cycle tones can be silenced, but there's no way to silence the sounds it makes when using the controls. - Some cycles that were previously on the knob (like towels) now require using an app to load. and, well, that's it! Minor complaints, to be sure. I chose Samsung because the old dryer worked so well, and the new one is doing the job faster and more quietly.
