I am thrilled because she is eatingg a dog food that will help her. She is 11 years old and this will help her muscles, coat and bones healthy. my lab agrees.

I've had both of my dogs one is a Doberman and the other a Rottweiler on IAMS since they were both 8 weeks old. They've been doing great on it. Their coats are shiny and they're both very energetic! I personally like it because it contains chicken as it's 1st ingredient and it's not that expensive compared to other brands. My Dobie is 2.5 years old and my Rottie just turned 2 years and I plan on keeping them on IAMS for the rest of their lives. I'd definitely recommend because of the reasonable cost and quality. I'll be updating reviews as they get older so far I'm satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I switched my 7 year old black lab from another Iams brand to Iams Large Breed and haven't noticed a difference... and that's a great thing. Roxie was doing great on the other variety so I was a little wary that she'd have some stomach upset during the transition. No belly troubles to be found. And, I think she seems to be satisfied longer. She doesn't come begging for dinner an hour before I plan to give it to her like before. She eats it happily morning and night. I've had to coac her to eat other brands - never with Iams. She's a happy girl!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iams is the only brand of dog food that I have bought our 6 year old Daisy May from the start. It was the only dog food that had chicken as the first item of ingredients and she has been hooked since. I was so excited to see that the brand we love so dearly now has a food tailored for our larger breed dog. Daisy May woofed this food up without thinking twice and has been walking by her bowl looking for more ever since. I cant wait to find this in the store and continue to buy it for her.

I switched my dogs food from Purina Pro Plan Sport to this IAM's and IAM convinced this is the last bag for her. She has been having some atrocious gas since her first bowl and she is half way through the bag. It leaves the whole house smelling like dog farts which are terrible. If your dog is lucky enough to not have this problem...God blessed you. As for me, I will pay the extra $40 bucks to not have a farty house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My yellow lab is such a great dog and a wonderful part of our family. However, when it is time to eat he always comes to see what is in his bowl sniffs and walks away. He waits to see if he will get leftovers then he will casually munch on his dog food. It takes forever for him to finish. Now, with the Iams he gobbles it up right when we put it in his bowl and has been every day since we got the food I am keeping my fingers crossed to see if this continues and we can say good bye to Mr. finicky!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I received my 15 lb Iams Pro active health large breed dog food the other day. I was so overly excited to try this with my 3 year old Siberian Husky, named Kaine. He has alot of energy and is well, crazy at times. I decided to give him a big bowl of this food and some water when we woke up. Sad to say, he turned his nose up at it! I found this very strange considering that his first year he ate Iams puppy. I think maybe the smell of it just didn't hit it off with Kaine. The food is just brown shaped pieces, all the same texture and flavor, which is chicken. My dog usually is not all that picky with food, but I'm gonna trick him next time and mix it into another bag! I'll let you know how that one goes!

Both of my dogs love thus product , sometimes I add a vegetable stock to give them treat . It would be nice if the recipes on the back of the bag of healthy things to add to the dog food. We love that the adult large dog works for both of our dogs !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to see this come in the mail because our dogs have been eating the same dog food for a long time but I dont really know what to buy!! I thought it was great that the first ingredient was not corn for a change.. the dogs smelled the bag open, they came running and ate the whole bowl really fast. Usually they eat a bowl throughout the day and this time they ate it all at once.I was really surprised!! I am glad that I got to try it and I have since changed from our brand to IAMS Brand!!!
