[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before participating in the Iams Proactive Health dog food campaign, my Roscoe was eating Iams healthy naturals. Normally I'm not a fan of changing his food due to his sensitive stomach. The last time I changed his food it upset his stomach. Since it was the same brand I decided to take the chance. Before starting him with Iams Proactive health dog food he was over weight; thanks to my dad. Although he is still a young adult dog I was concern about his joints and health. Looking at the benefits of Iams proactive health was a plus for me . The benefits was just what I needed such as healthy joints, strong bones, healthy metabolism, healthy digestion and most importantly meat is the first ingredient. When I received my free bag from Iams myself and Roscoe was excited. He just knew it was for him. I allowed him to taste it and he loved it at first taste. So now he loves it and will eat the new Iams proactive health over his Iams healthy naturals. But the most important and best part of trying the new Iams proactive health is that I notice he is slimming down. I will make sure to provide update on Roscoe with his final transformation!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I let the dogs generally have two choices and try to switch it up, as I would personally get bored and they don't have sensitive tummies. When given the option they both went after this first! More expensive price point but worth their happiness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not able to fully give my opinion on this dog food because sadly my dog, Budha, passed away on July 16th so he only got to try the dog food for about a week. I will give my opinion on that time that he tried the food. Thankfully my pup is not very picky with trying new foods so when I put it in his bowl instead of his regular food. He chomped it up drank some water and then went to go play outside like he normally does. When I looked at the ingredient list I liked that the first thing listed was chicken. Sadly it does have some chicken-by-product in it which is unfortunate, but I decided I'd continue on trying it out. I liked the size of the dry food, they were nice big "chunks' perfect for my dog. They were crunchy and a bit hard, I would have liked them to be a little softer. It wasn't that much of a big deal though, just a preference. The smell of the food was fine, no weird smells. I can't really say if it made a difference in his overall health because he passed away so quickly. My dog was actually 13yrs old and not 1-5yrs that the food was made for. I think it got mixed up with my other dog which is 2yrs old, but is a chihuahua that's only 14lbs. I'm sure though he would have benefited from the extra protein and minerals that are in the dog food. I included a photo of Budha relaxing on my bed from months ago that I took. I regret I didn't have a chance to take photos of him closer to the end of his life. With the leftover food I donated it to a non-profit pet adoption organization so some other dog could benefit from it.

My dog wolfed back his food so he must have enjoyed the flavour. Today is only day one but he seemed to love it and we will continue to stick with this food! Reccomend So far!

My pup Lexi was trying to get into the cupboard to get this food before I could even show it to her, I took it out of the cupboard and as you can see she stuck her head right into the bag to feast! She’s part lab so always hungry but when she dives into the bag I know it’s a hit 5/5⭐️

I've had both of my dogs one is a Doberman and the other a Rottweiler on IAMS since they were both 8 weeks old. They've been doing great on it. Their coats are shiny and they're both very energetic! I personally like it because it contains chicken as it's 1st ingredient and it's not that expensive compared to other brands. My Dobie is 2.5 years old and my Rottie just turned 2 years and I plan on keeping them on IAMS for the rest of their lives. I'd definitely recommend because of the reasonable cost and quality. I'll be updating reviews as they get older so far I'm satisfied!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Saint Bernard named Sally, she absolutely loves the Iams Proactive Health dog food for large breeds. She always eats this food very eagerly and really seems to enjoy it. Iams is a brand I feel good about giving my dog and its a brand I trust. I like that the pieces of dog food are larger, I feel that they are the perfect size for Sally. I have nothing bad to say about this food, I feel like it provides complete nutrition for my dog and I will definitely look for this food next time I am out shopping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two dogs, a black lab-blue heeler & a Black lab- Ridgeback, and they are picky picky picky about the food they will eat. I must say when I opened the back I nearly got trampled for the food. They gobbled the first bowl up in minutes! I love knowing they are happy with the taste, and they are getting the nutrients both need in the bowl. It also helps to know they are eating the bowls dry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is weirdly picky about his food. At one point he was eating a food that had 4 different color pieces and he would only eat 2 colors. He loves this food! He can eat throughout the day and he use to leave food in his bowl. Since I switched he has only left this food in his bowl 1 or 2 times. Definitely dog approved!

My Standard Poodle has been eating this food now for 6 months and is doing SO much better than his previous food. His stools are firm and properly formed, he has very little to no gas now, his coat is soft and full, and he loves the taste as he is excited to eat at feeding times! I would LOVE to see the Large Breed Lamb formula be available in Canada too!
