Regular maintenance (cleaning the gasket, leaving the door open) keeps them running well for 10+ years. It still has great speed and connectivity. It is optimal for modern single family home. Therefore great capacity.

Been using mine daily for 1-5 loads for 4 years and it runs like a top. Fits and cleans large heavily soiled loads then gently cares for hand knits. It's fast and quiet, too. I clean it every time it alerts me and it serves me well. When it finally poops out I'm getting another one. Highly recommend.

Most important thing is itwashes my clothing effectively & uaws efficiency in doing it. Having all the controls on my phone plus voice alerts all through smartthings is a super plus. Additional washing selections are also available in the app. No complaints at all. Hopefuly they add more color selections n the future.

I am disappointed in this washer to be honest. I expect better from Samsung; I have all Samsung appliances and am very happy overall. The issue with this washer is that they made the programming overly complicated and relying on a phone app. In the previous version of this washer I could set a “my cycle” setting on the machine. Now it requires an app that is very difficult to use and I discovered that does not support custom cycles in my region. So a simple feature and I lose it because of the app requirement. Forcing customers to manage a washing machine through an app is ridiculous and unnecessary. It does not make for a better customer experience.

The smart features help when you're busy doing other things around the house letting you know when to clean drum and laundry done. The only disadvantage is there is no drum light to see if you have missed an item left behind.

A nice feature is connecting it to smart things and getting notifications when it is done or getting account down for when the current cycle is done.

You can easily connect it to the SmartThings app to remotely control the cycles. The washer is also really fast and tells you how much time is left in your cycles.
