Never before have I been so dissapointed in a LEGO set, that it caused me to feel the need to write a negative review (not even when LEGO placed a squishy plastic Velociraptor in a Jurrasic Park set). This set however infuriated me more and more with every step of the build. Prior to purchasing this set, I kept wondering why LEGO never advertised the height of this kit. Now I know why. The majority of this set is under 5" tall. The centerpiece of this set, the piece de resistance (Gringott's Bank) is only 6" tall. Imagine, a three story building depicted in less than 6". The other buildings in this set are two story with raised roof lines, and as mentioned are less than 5" tall. The scale of this set is so small, you can barely complete the build (kid sized fingers are almost a must), never the less see the details inside the rooms. On top of the scale issues, the detail is pathetic. The dragon on top of Gringott's Bank looks like a three year old designed it, and don't even get me started on the micro characters. You can't even see the faces on these characters, what a joke! I have puchased LEGO FRIENDS sets for my daughter that had more scale and detail than this kit, and for half the cost!! With the scale and detail of this set, LEGO should have marketed it as a MINIATURE SET. So very disappointing, and frustrating (due to the cost)!

This is a nice set and looks good when finished, but the build was very, very tedious. Soooo many small pieces, and even though all the Easter eggs are fun, there are too many to really see. I built the micro scale Hogwart's school and that was great fun: lots of small pieces there, too, but seeing the build rise as you progress was cool, whereas the Diagon Alley set is just a collection of buildings. Again, a fun set and one I'd recommend, but definitely not for everyone.

This set was so fun to build, and I love how it turned out. I'm a big fan of both Harry Potter and LEGO, so this was an amazing collaboration. At first, I wanted the large Diagon Alley set, but this one ended up being the perfect build. There's so much detail!

My husband and I love building sets together. When I showed him this one online, he wasn't too excited about it, but I bought it anyways. As we got a few steps in and he was seeing it all come together, he said he was enjoying building it a lot more than he thought he would and loved the details. The little rooms are so fun to build. Definitely recommend this set! We also have the mini Hogwarts castle and grounds, so these look great displayed together.

I had one of the best experiences with this Lego set, I been collecting all Harry Potter lego set and this is one of the best sets out there. HP is one of my best set to build and I was excited to build this one. I have build a total of 23 Lego set of HP in the pass 2 months and half. I can’t wait for what else you guys release. This set is awesome and it looks really good! The instructions was good and my experience was amazing!

Despite having the large version of Dragon Alley (75978) and the mid size version of a couple of the shops (76439) this looked so good on the website I had to have it and am glad I did. Fun to build and fun to play with. Looks better in my house than it did on the website.

I just finished building Diagon Alley and it turned out to be beautiful. It was fairly easy to build and the set held together very well. There were no pieces missing and if I made a mistake, I could fix it without taking everything apart. That is not always true with other sets. The only problem that I had was putting the creature on top of the white building.

This is a super cool and very detailed set. My only hang up was that there were SO many extra pieces. I kept going back over the instructions to make sure I hadn’t missed something because they weren’t the types of pieces that are usually included in the extras. Just seemed very odd and I’ve done a ton of Lego sets.

Not exactly what I was expecting but it was fun to build and looks great with my other sets
