This seems like good quality. The main drawback I see is the same as others. The lid doesn't open far enough for cleaning or anything. Hopefully they fix that problem with future models.

It was in clearance so the blunted the issues a bit. The lid dies not open all the way. Steam escapes at the top of the handle. Poor design. Heats up okay but not really quick as most kettles do. I would not recommended this unit.

A good choice for an electric kettle. I love the fluted decoration and overall shape. I purchased the ivory color and this adds to the clean look. Another plus is that it's relatively small (1 ltr) and thus easier to lift and boils quickly.

It’s good looking, safe all around (exterior is not hot to the touch) and handle is easy for an elder with bit of arthritis to hold. Had a Cuisinart toaster for years & trust the brand. It’s sturdier than cheaper small gooseneck I had,…that was OK for few years,…until it just stopped. I like that it pours slowly over coffee filter or quickly into tea cup. But, I wish top opened a full 90’ (it does not) so I could pour hot water back into the pot. (I heat my cups up 1st.) Making do by opening the top (edge is hot) up as far as it will go with kitchen sink faucet & pouring hot water back in the pot to boil again. It works. I don’t get burned. I looked at other pots that I could take top off. Decided to stick with Cuisinart brand.

It heats quickly which I like. The only complaint I have is the lid. It really should open all the way. But I’m still very happy with this purchase.

Everything works as described. Simple, beautiful. Wish there was a 1.5 liter option and that the lid would open up completely. It opens up about 60 degrees. It's a pain to fill up using a faucet. Forget it if your faucet doesn't have an adjustable sprayer.

I bought the Soho 1-liter double wall electric kettle a couple weeks ago. I'd been boiling water stovetop for tea after getting rid of my last electric kettle a number of years ago. What I like about the Soho is that the black exterior matches my other appliance and is easy to keep clean, plus the wide mouth interior makes cleaning the interior a breeze. Water heats up quickly and has an auto shut-off, which I think is an important safety feature. I'm super happy about my purchase and glad to put the pan away that used to sit on the stove.
