Love the look on my counter. It heats water faster than my microwave. After pouring water from it, it automatically shuts off.

This is my third Cuisinart electric kettle. The last two performed very well and at this point in my life, I am looking for simplicity. I love this ketchup because it is lightweight, heats up quickly, comes in attractive colors annd is easy to fill. I no longer need all of the different temperature settings. This one is perfect for me.

After reading many reviews of different electric kettles, I decided on this one. Particularly because the water does not come in contact with plastic. That being said, the kettle is attractive, the perfect size for us empty nesters, and so convenient. And it is fast! Perfect for our needs.

I've had this kettle about 2-1/2 weeks, and so far I've been very pleased with it. It does exactly as what it was designed to do. I've used it on a daily basis. Some reviewers have mentioned it's difficult to clean because the lid doesn't open all the way. I find that if you leave the lid open after you pour all the water out, the residue heat will actually dry it out. Any traces of water left behind, just simply dab out with a paper towel. It would be nice to have a warm setting, but I would still buy this kettle again. It's great for one or two people.

Its a no non-sense, easy to use kettle which looks great on the counter and best of all, free from plastic in the heating area.

The Cuisinart Electric Kettle was a great purchase. We travel to Ireland every summer where electric kettles are a mainstay in every kitchen. For oneself or a visitor, the kettle puts you mere seconds away from that welcoming cup of tea or coffee. I also use mine to hasten dinner prep. Instead of waiting for what seems like forever (a watched pot…), I use boiling water from my Cuisinart kettle to jumpstart the process of steaming veg in a pot on the stove. I’m delighted with the simple style of it, and the stainless steel interior ensures the purity of the water.

I got this to take to work. I work in an elementary school so I wanted it to be safe in case a child touched it. It works beautifully for that purpose. Plus the design in elegant and I enjoy its simple functions. I don’t drink green tea during the day so it’s great for my herbal teas. It heats quickly and is all around just what I wanted. The price was a good value as well.

This kettle is so much more efficient than my stovetop tea kettle, and it looks great and has stainless steel surfaces wherever water touches, which I appreciate. I like that it's simple (on/off button), and my only tiny complaint is that I wish the lid opened a little farther.

I love this kettle and I use it often. It heats up quickly and is very hot. It has a good handle doesn't take up much space on the counter. And the bone color is really pretty on my counter. My only issue is that I like to use filtered water from the refrigerator, and it is difficult to fill the kettle because the lid only opens about 45 degrees from the rim.

I bought this kettle for my child who is going to college. My top priority was safety, and as a Cuisinart customer, I trusted this brand. In that regard, it’s a solid choice. However, the design could be improved: the lid doesn’t open 90 degrees, which makes it less practical to clean. It also lacks temperature control, so if you prefer to heat water without bringing it to a full boil (for light teas, for example), this may not be the right option.
