The pistachios were probably the worst quality pistachios I’ve ever had. More than half of the pistachios were far too bitter, much smaller than typical and were not open(ripe) enough it seems. Some were even brown. Very disappointed with the product.

Something’s not right with this company’s quality control. I have had to return 2 of the last 3 pistachios packages I’ve bought because they were obviously left in the roaster too long. In other words, they were burned and tasted burned. Good pistachios are greenish, but Wonderful brand have been a dark brown color more often than not. I’ve had to call their number on the package to report what’s going on and to give them the Lot numbers. Buyer beware!

I love pistachios. I've been buying these for years in smaller sizes and jumped at the chance to get a value sized bag when they went on sale over the holidays. Most of the nuts were fine, although they had a hint of staleness compared to usual. Unfortunately, there were several rotten ones in the bag, including one that had a full sized dead grub worm inside the shell. It was disgusting. After that, I may not eat another pistachio for a very long time if ever.

I order pistachios at least twice a month. This is the first time the pistachios were not fresh. I called the company ((Wonderful Pistachios). Unexpectedly they are sending me a refund of $20. I will continue to purchase wonderful pistachios. I just got a bad bag.
