We bought 2 of these - they are perfect. We installed one in our loft and donated the other to our neighborhood club. Would recommend any Visio products and the price is so reachable.

This tv was easy to set up, has a great picture and color is excellent. The sound is good, although I did end up buying the sound bar that was offered at a discount with the purchase of the tv. Also very good price altogether!!

This 50” Vizio TV lasted four days before the black screen of death appeared. Backlight was malfunctioning. This was my first and last Vizio purchase.

PRO: great quality for the price! love the picture, the fact that you can customize the audio, the picture, the Bluetooth capability-- my 84 yo mother with hearing and eye troubles could easily see what we were watching because of the customization features. ALSO the screen doesnt reflect a ton of light in different viewing angles that could obscure the ability to watch programs if its near a window. and - its very easy to navigate! CON: The legs are crap! too widely spaced, too thin, YOU WILL NEED A DRILL and be very careful you do not snap one of the thin plastic legs

This tv is pretty much exactly what you pay for. Nothing special but picture and audio are fine. I binge watch football on the weekends and at least 2-3 times a day I have to unplug the tv to let it reset otherwise it won’t play any video on any app.

Has no analog audio outputs, only one fiber optic (toslink) audio out. The only way to connect to your home stereo is to purchase a separate digital to analog sound converter or I used the built-in TV Bluetooth and attached a small Bluetooth receiver to my home stereo system. Many of the connections on the back have been either omitted or blocked off. I'm sure this is why it is referred to as a " special edition " (stripped down). Just try to avoid using the " full led array " option and/or full backlight brightness or the TV will only last about 3 or 4 years. The full LED array option is nice but it causes the LED backlight system to burn out prematurely. The dimmer the picture the longer the TV will last.

In my option the setup procedure is confusing. I want a TV that I can plug in , an watch. With Visio you have setup a account on a smart phone before you configure your TV. I've have other issues, I may return the TV if I can't get them figured out. I would not buy another VIZIO.
