I was happy with the price and the TV was delivered the next day. BUT, this TV does NOT work. It keeps turning off. I will be returning this horrible tv. I get the Vizio logo on the screen for one minute, then the tv goes off for one minute and the Vizio name comes on again. It does this over and over. It does not load apps or channels. I had to unplug the tv to make it stay off. I guess if a deal sounds too good to be true, it is. seems like these were defective tv and that's why it was so cheap.

First things first….. The screws are the wrong size for the legs... Haven't been able to find screws that fit and without the right screws the legs wobble and tv leans forward. After reading all the reviews from around the same time my order was placed, seems many others are having multiple issues.

I had a great deal of trouble setting up the TV. The picture lacks sharpness and somewhat poor color, sound isn't the greatest. I initially set the TV up for local channels and that worked OK until I set up the Visio Account and activated the smart TV. Very glitchy and I started to have trouble controlling the TV. I don't like the remote. When using the local tv feature, I could go up to about 6 or 7 stations and then it would jump to the Spanish language channels on its own, Each time that happened I couldn't get out of it without shutting off the TV. I tried my best to reset the picture, but the controls were difficult to navigate. I struggled with the TV for about 8 hours and gave up. I ended up doing a factory reset and that cleared up the issues. Only using the TV for local channels and not using the smart TV features. Got another TV with Fire TV and it operates just fine. I do not recommend this TV.

Super easy setup. Beautiful, sharp picture. Great sound. I hope this Vizio lasts as long as my old one. My old one is 13 yrs old and still going strong even though it isn't a smart tv. I love the Vizio brand. Highly recommend. This is my 2nd smart tv. First one was a Samsung. Never again. Samsung was overpriced and the backlight went out. The price on this Vizio was fantastic. Even if it dies soon, it was still about 1/6th the price of the Samsung. I wish Vizio made phones. lol

This tv is awesome! I have a slightly smaller one in the basement that I love so didn't hesitate to buy this. It was definitely a good value for the money. The menus are easy to navigate and only requires one remote. I don't love the remote though-too small/fewer buttons hence why 4 instead of 5 stars. Would buy again!

Really happy with this VIZIO 50”. It fits perfect in my room and honestly looks way better than I expected for the price. The picture is super clear, colors look great, and the HDR really makes movies pop. The apps run smooth, no lag, and it connects quick every time. Sound is decent on its own but good enough for a bedroom setup. The size is perfect too — not too big, not too small. Easy to set up, lightweight, and the menu is simple to use. Overall, solid TV. Great picture, easy to use, and perfect for my room. Definitely worth it.

Got the Black Friday deal. Picture quality was about what I expected, maybe better in some ways and worse in others but solid. Sound is definitely not the best feature of the TV but I’m not that picky. Installation was shockingly annoying. There are no threads for the screws to go in to for the feet of the tv stand and it required a hand drill to drill directly into the plastic… never had this experience before in previous purchases. Pretty weird.

So far the tv is really great. I haven't explored too much of the Vizio interface because I have my Android box connected. But I must say the display on this tv is beautiful. It is set up in my room and looks great in a dark room. Also the tv is on a wall opposite of a window and when the sun is out, I don't really see much of a reflection at all. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Time will tell of course.

2 days after set up it started to display a message that said ‘Memory is being erased your TV will restart” then it would restart and repeat message/restart. Visio support was unable to troubleshoot the issue. Was not able to use. Had to buy a tv box to return it then the refund took forever. Pass on this one if you can.

I really wanted to like this TV, but the picture quality just isn’t there. Any time the screen is dark — especially with black backgrounds — there’s a bright white spot that shows through. It’s very noticeable and makes movies and shows distracting to watch. I’ve checked settings and tried different inputs, but the issue is always there. For the price, I expected better panel quality. If you watch a lot of movies with darker scenes, I wouldn’t recommend this model. Unfortunately I’ll be returning it.
