When quality matters over brand name was my main reason for purchasing my 50 inch Vizio 4K smart television. With the world absorbed with a brand names (i.e Samsung or LG), I was focused on a television that performs just as those brands, but at a fraction of the price. I did some research over these last few weeks, as I noticed my television in my bedroom was starting to no longer perform as it previously and barely connecting to wifi, I realized it was time to make a purchase. So, far I've had my new Vizio for about 4 days. I love the look, crispness of the picture, all the features, and ability to push single button to get hundreds of free channels. The one drawback for me, is I wish the sound quality was better. I will have to invest in a soundbar in near future but for thr price, you won't go wrong.

So far the tv is really great. I haven't explored too much of the Vizio interface because I have my Android box connected. But I must say the display on this tv is beautiful. It is set up in my room and looks great in a dark room. Also the tv is on a wall opposite of a window and when the sun is out, I don't really see much of a reflection at all. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Time will tell of course.

This was my first Vizio purchase and I bought it because it was on sale. The setup was fairly easy except for setting the time for my time zone. It took about seven days to correct itself after I had tried for three straight day to correct it. I also don't care for the remote. It is small and there are no numbers on the remote so you have to scroll to get to your channel. That is very annoying. I would prefer a remote with numbers even if it's a little bigger than the one that came with the tv.

For the price it was a great deal...Picture is fine...Sound is fine...The only complaint I have is the input does not come back to where it was when turned off so when I turn the TV on I have to change the input to HDMI-1 which is kind of a pain...But for us it's in the yard under the porch so we didn't want anything expensive anyway.

Great picture A lengthy set up having to create an app on your cell phone and input a lot of information. Here’s a tip. If you’re looking for the four digit passcode, it’s very small and at the top of the screen. The only problem is with the remote that comes with the television The volume is very limited and low. I have to use my Hot Wire remote to increase the volume.

I got the Black Friday through, and for less than 150. This is a fantastic TV. i manipulated the settings to the max, but even on the preset setting the color is so vivid. the only issue which apparently most people have is adding apps to the home screen. But it's a quick reset, and you're good love it.

I was not looking to purchase a new TV. I could not believe the unbelievable value on the Visio smart tv. I received it in less than 24 hours. The picture and sound quality are great. The 50" size is exactly what I wanted. The tv stand is easy is assemble. It is sturdy.

I’m just letting people know that this tv is not quick fit compatible! I wish in the item description section that I have copied below it would have noted that somewhere. I rated it a 1 star just so people can be aware of this otherwise the tv is good and the soundbar is good. Come on Vizio… it wouldn’t have cost but a couple of dollars to have this tv compatible… also the screws you provided to mount the legs are trash!!! Stripped the heads out just trying to install the legs cause the material is to soft. Bought this for my elderly mother. This television has a great picture but my mother does not have Wifi. She uses it with an antenna. The unit defaults to "search for connection" every time it comes on. She's older and doesn't do well with technology. Without connecting it to wifi I can not get this feature to turn off. So she fumbles to turn it on antenna every time she turns it on. She has to call people to help her many times. There should be a way to tell it you aren't connecting and don't ask again.

Got this black Friday priced, so it was incredibly cheap. Bought it for in front of exercise equipment in an exercise room. Surprisingly amazing picture for $128. Easy to set up and use. I put it on a rolling stand and movenit around. You can’t go wrong with this purchase!
