[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this vacuum sealer and let me tell you it gets the job done. It’s super easy to use and also it comes with plastic to vacuum seal any food. I never thought I’d use one but let me tell you if you don’t have I suggest you get one it comes in handy.

Everything is fresh even after so many days. It helps me to save space in my refrigerator and kitchen. Quickly seals the package . Very safe to use . Value for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fairly straight forward and simple vacuum sealer with basic functionality for anyone who has interest in preserving food. There is a moist/dry food option, and it comes with a roll of bags, as well as reusable bags. The roll of bags was super simple to use - you simply cut off the desired length of bag, seal one end, put food into it, and then seal the other end using the "Seal/Vacuum" button. It sealed my chicken in probably around 15 seconds with a tight seal. Make sure to leave 2 inches at the top of the bag to get a tight seal. There is also a magnetic bag cutter that sticks onto the front of the sealer so that you can trim any excess. I had a bit of trouble with the reusable bags and external hose sealer, which is why I subtracted 1 star. I followed the manual exacting, plugging the hose into the sealer, and placing the cone shaped end over the hole on the bag. In order for the hose to work you MUST make sure that the sealer is shut correctly and completely (which I did), however, the hose still did not vacuum anything and I was unable to produce any kind of seal or suction on the bags. It is possible that this unit was faulty, but just something to be aware of.

I already have several Dash appliances and was happy to add this to my collection especially with it being the same color! It’s so easy to use and it definitely seals up the food!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DASH vacuum sealer works good for storing meats, veggies and breads. I haven’t used this item to seal liquids and I don’t plan on it. I use this product to seal family size meats into single servings and fresh vegetables. I prefer the vacuum seal bags, it’s more convenient because you don’t have to create your own seal. It just makes the sealing process much faster. I have tried to use the plastic roll to create my own bags, it works good but again is a lil more time consuming. The seal keeps my meats and veggies tasting and looking great. I haven’t had any problem with freezer burn or bad veggies. Not to mention, the vacuum sealer matches my kitchen decor.

The vacuum suction works perfectly keeping it air tight and the ends are sealed almost without effort. The product also doesn’t take to much space on the counter and is small enough to store away between uses. Overall, this product is probably one of the most important products in our kitchen.
