I am very pleased with my portable Generac. It has no problem running my furnace, 2 refrigerators, a big freezer, and my lights, all at the same time. Great product !!

My home is the go to home for severe weather and in Louisiana we have our fair share. I needed a generator that would provide all the power I need that was dependable from a company that I knew I could depend on. This GP17500E does that.

easy to put together , like the start button and the battery charge port . Handle makes it easy too move around . quieter then my old work horse 5,500 . covers for 120 and 30 outlets are nice too. great product for the price.

Bought my Generac generator last Fall but have not had to use it yet as no outage of power so far. Had a stand-by unit before and loved it’s reliability but chose this unit with manual transfer system for whole house coverage.

Price was good, assembly very easy, and started without hesitation. I mainly use it for back up for my home, but also use it for jobs around my outbuildings and acreage. So far no problems.

Im not sure about all their generators but the one I got was not good. Lots of problems starting it . Pulled hard . Jerked string out of my hand when I would pull it. Finally broke after 80 hrs of use

Purchased the unit after a ice storm. Easy to set up, started on first pull. Power was off 2 days but we were able to keep the fridge and lights on. will purchase transfer switch and install ASAP

Ordered as a backup unit for my home. Easily runs everything I need during power outage. The generator is fairly quite for its size and very easy to start.

I bought this generator for backup power to deal with Hurricane Sandy. It was easy to assemble and I was able to get it up and running quickly. The electric start (Model 6500E) came in handy.
