So glad Swiss Miss returned to the cardboard canister. Adding the mix to water according to package directions yields a decent hot chocolate, but which may be a little thin for some tastes. My kids add extra mix when they make it, and it tastes great.

I ordered the easy grip plastic container and what I received was the metal canister and it was damaged. It was not shipped in a box for protection and there is chocolate powder everywhere. This is not what I ordered. The packaging was already ripped open.

Good instant hot chocolate however I've found the Great Value brand to be better as far as the amount needed for each cup, as I like mine really chocolatey. If you use the recommended amount it tastes watery. You need more of the Swiss miss per cup to equal the flavor of the Great Value brand making it more expensive to use. I use 1 1/2 scoops of Great Value but need 2 scoops of the Swiss miss to achieve the same flavor. In the long run you get less for your money.

I provide drinks for homeless men and women on the streets. Swiss Miss is a delicious drink that is good on a cold morning. Since it is made with water it is easy to make 5 gallons at a time. My only complaint is that this years container is 12 cups smaller that the container last year. But the flavor is great.

Although i teally like this mix, I have an issue with the container. The lid does not want to stay on. It ha a mind of its own. So I use a different container. I add protein powder to the mix and end up with a nice "sippable" breakfast. I don't feel quite so guilty indulging.

The new cannister has a lid that fits very loosely. It does not seem to seal airtight either. When I received my shipment of 2 cannisters, one was completely busted open and the powder was everywhere in the box. I'd like them to find a better fitting cover.

Arthritic hands make carrying or picking up the new square container very hard. Preferred the round style container.

The product tastes great (good chocolate flavor, no artificial taste), but the lid won't stay on properly. It's very easy to dislodge.

At Christmas time, we give out hundreds of cups of hot cocoa to people looking at Christmas lights. We hear “this is the best hot cocoa!” over and over again! So much fun!

I miss the larger canisters, but I'm grateful to still be able to purchase swiss miss in bulk. A little bit goes a long way with this very flavorful drink mix.
