[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have for years wanted a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and finally received this one. I’m so in love with this mixer already. This particular unit came with four beaters (Flat Beater, Spiral Dough Hook, Wire Whip and the 11-wire Stainless Steel Eliptical Beater), two stainless steel bowls (one large bowl with handle and one mid size bowl). Additionally, this unit came with a spatula with a slit in the end which makes cleaning the beaters easier. The beaters are easy to attach. Simply align the opening on the beater with the pin on the side of the beater bar, then rotate to secure. The bowls snap on and off easily by simply aligning the holes on each side of the bowl with the stainless pins and gently pressing down. You can feel when the bowls are properly snapped into place. Then, simply rotate the bar on the side of the unit to lower the beater into the bowl. (Please note the beaters will appear to be off-sided, but once the unit is placed in motion, the beaters will rotate all around the bowl.). The speed is easily controlled while the unit is running. Simply slide the knob on the left side of the unit to your desired speed. One feature that I noticed immediately is this unit is all stainless. It does not have any visible rubber seals or gaskets. I like this as you do not have to be concerned with the seals/gaskets becoming damaged or brittle from numerous washings. Kitchen Aid does recommend hand washing, though. Numerous other attachments are available for purchase if you are into making your own pasta, etc.). This unit is very heavy and the weight should be considered before giving to an older person. I absolutely love this mixer and can’t wait to use it more. I will definitely recommend to family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my machine weekly. I’ve made cookies, brownies, breads, muffins, bagels, and more. My only two gripes are that the pink wasn’t more widely available, AND this is advertised as able to handle bread but it actually doesn’t really do it well. The whole thing starts moving around heavily and if you join Reddit groups they all say the same and also they will mention that bread doughs will burn out the motor. I only use my machine for bread doughs for a couple min and finish with my hands, just so I don’t ruin my machine. Other than those two, I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way this mixer worked for making cake batter, the whisk attachment made it so easy to get the eggs fluffy. It comes with several different attachments and two different sized bowls as well. I also love the spatula meant to clean the whisk/paddle attachments. The only negatives are that the mixer is quite heavy to move around the counter and it tall enough it won't fit in any of my cupboards. But overall really liked it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Loft Stand Mixer is a wonderful addition to the baker’s kitchen. Mixing your baked goods and making frosting becomes so easy with this wonderful machine. The bowl locks into the stand to bring out a superior mixing capability. The bowl comes in and out rather easily. You do need to remove the mixing attachment to remove and replace the bowl. However, the attachment simply rotates and unlocks for easy removal and re-attachment. This mixer comes with 10 adjustable speed settings for your best mixing experience. There are also several additional attachments that can be added to expand upon pasta and meat preparation as well as bread making. This mixer is somewhat heavy therefore will require some help to move if there is any weight bearing restrictions. The bowl lift feature allows for help when baking large quantities. The blue velvet color is real attractive to add to your kitchen decor. This mixer came with an additional now, an additional whip attachment as well as a spatula designed to clean off your attachments so as not to waste and of the bakery products. Overall, this mixer is a great addition to your kitchen and will make you the hit of your neighborhood while whipping up those outstanding sweet treats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything I ever wanted in a stand mixer and more. It's so easy to use, quiet, and beautiful! Now that I own a KitchenAid, I won't go back to cheaper models. I can make cookies now without overpowering the mixer, forcing me to mix by hand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Way too loud, beaters don’t reach bottom of bowl for good mixing. Returned it after 3 attempts to use it. I have had my Artisan model for 8 years and loved it until was worn and left with 2 speeds. the price to repair is astronomical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unpacking the KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer box and wow is it loaded with extra goodies. It comes with plenty of attachments to be able to make anything you can imagine. I found the lift feature to be pretty simple and helps with heavier batches. I make lots of cookies around the house but I also love to use my Kitchenaid mixer to shred chicken breast. It makes shredding a breeze and is super fast.

I bought it a year ago and so happy I did. I would recommend it
