It mostly dies what I bought it for, bread making.Seems a bit under powered though, frequently struggles while developing gluten. I do like the smaller bowl and whip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve previously owned the tilt version of KitchenAid mixer. I thought this version would give better access to adding ingredients while mixer is running. I would have to give the better rating to the tilt version. It is also quicker to lift mixer than lower the bowl in this mixer. If I’m going to recommend mixers tilt vs.bowl lift, I would give the nod to tilt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I inherited my mom’s Kitchen Aid Mixer about 25 years ago. I’ve used it for baking a few times but most recently have been using the grinding attachment to make dog food from scratch. Just before Christmas, my mom’s mixer finally came to a halt. I’d consider that 30-35 year life span was amazing considering my mom baked a lot during her 5-10 years with it on top of my 25 years. Fortunately, this happened just before Christmas so Sam’s club was having a sale on them. I haven’t done any baking with it yet but my new Mixer works great for grinding up the ingredients needed for my dog’s food. I’m hopeful that this one will last another 30 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Kitchenaid stand mixer, and my favorite. Has all the power I need for home use, and can use all the attachments. Easy to move up and down, and also adjust to the right depth for whichever beater you are using. This is my favorite simply because it comes with a 3 quart bowl, which is wonderful to use when you are making a smaller amount. So handy - I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a surprising upgrade from my old tilt head mixer. Not only is she beautiful but she has so much power I didn't know I needed. My daughter and I spent all weekend trying new recipes. It handled everything we put in there. The bowls and attachments are easy to clean and made well. It was so easy to switch attachments and it's fully customizable with additional accessories. I'm in love with the new color and plan to leave out on my counter top.

Had an issue with the whisk attachment but customer service got me a replacement very quickly. Very happy with my mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this set to try. I have been a fan of KitchenAid mixers for some time and still am. I have inherited my mother's, mother-in-law's and with my own smaller model, this makes for my fourth unit. It is extremely durable and versatile. This unit is the Pro model, so it is larger with larger capacity bowl. It also came with a small bowl and its own small whisk for making small batches of frosting. The large capacity stainless steel bowl is just right for the larger batches of bread dough that I make. Attachements include dough hook, whisk, paddle and spatula. Can't have too many spatulas. The unit is lighter than my older, smaller model so it makes it easier to move around the kitchen and put away in a cupboard. The hub allows for several attachement add-on's and the pasta maker I already have will fit. These models come in a variety of colors, mine was a lighter blue. I am sure anyone can find a color to fit their decor.

I was so sad to discover the Hobart did not make the Kitchen Aid mixers any longer. I can definitely tell a difference. But so far it's working, I'm sure it's not going to last 51 years.
