During the "fantastic sale" of this Mixer on-line only ($100.00 dollars off until December 26, 2024), I ordered this 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer on December 9, 2024. It was "a little bit harrowing" at first, because I originally ordered the Matte Black Color thinking it was "in stock," but about one hour before I was supposed to pick it up curbside, they cancelled that order, so I assumed it was because it was out of stock, but their website did not reflect this development. Therefore, very promptly after this fact, later in the evening, I ordered the Silver Color instead to which I again got notice that they had cancelled this order also. I contacted Sam's Club's Customer Service directly the following morning and actually talked to a "live person" on December 10th, 2024, they informed me they actually did have the Silver Color "in stock" and I could still go and pick this one up, to which I did. I have used this Mixer (recently over the Christmas Holiday) and I simply love it. The fact that I got "such a great deal" on the price and the extra accessories (the 3-Quart Bowl, Small Whip and the Spatula) were a wonderful addition for the price. I know that everyone has different experiences with a product not performing well in whatever manner to their expectations when they purchase an item, but I did not. After adjusting the screw that makes sure that the paddle, whip or dough hook did not touch the bowl to scratch it, when I made my homemade baked goods, it worked "flawlessly." I highly recommend this Bowl-Lift Mixer for anyone to purchase and utilize to make your cakes, cookies, rolls or whatever pastry fits your desire. You will not be disappointed in your decision in order to prepare "absolute delicacies" and good cooking to all!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Stand Mixer has been a staple in my kitchen for several years, with the current classic red iteration still going strong after 7 years of heavy use. My whole family loves cooking and baking, and my husband is especially passionate about his culinary creations. We have all sorts of mixers and blenders but the trusty KitchenAid is always pulled out for the big work. The only issues I personally had with it was the weight and bulk, both of which made it all the more cumbersome to tilt lift the head to remove the bowl or add ingredients. So a couple days ago, my new matte blue beauty arrived in the mail and we were truly blown away. Aesthetically, let’s just say the Stand Mixer has made it to full time countertop space. The beautiful, matte powder blue body is classic and modern, and I swear it’s maybe a third of the weight of our old one. It’s streamlined and easy to move around. The fresh, sleek new look carries through to the stainless steel components as does the obviously increased performance and quality. Included with the mixer are another half sized mixing bowl and multiple attachments, along with a super cool spatula with a special groove for getting all the delicious stuff stuck on the whisks. The crowning achievement is absolutely the new Bowl-Lift technology that solves all of my problems and even allows my 4 and 6 year old budding chefs to join in safely and easily. With the 2 side by side, the differences are plain to see. The professional level output has twice the power so my amazing cook of a husband can go to town on everything from fresh masa dough to thick salsas to handmade pasta and everything in between. I am so excited for the kitchen memories my family and I will create together with the help of our new KitchenAid Stand Mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my machine weekly. I’ve made cookies, brownies, breads, muffins, bagels, and more. My only two gripes are that the pink wasn’t more widely available, AND this is advertised as able to handle bread but it actually doesn’t really do it well. The whole thing starts moving around heavily and if you join Reddit groups they all say the same and also they will mention that bread doughs will burn out the motor. I only use my machine for bread doughs for a couple min and finish with my hands, just so I don’t ruin my machine. Other than those two, I love it.

No more hassle trying to hold the bowl in place to mix ingredients, or over exerting myself trying to whip things up! I use it to mix my bread dough, cake mixes, pudding, cheesecakes, deviled egg filling, and so much more! The attachments are easy to put on and remove helping to make clean up a breeze. It’s definitely one of the very few appliances that warrants space on my countertops year round, and looks very attractive doing so!

All of the extra features are wonderful and it works great! It lived up to all of my expectations. It has a quiet volume as well and isn't too disturbing.

It's inconvenient to have to take the paddle and the bowl off every time that I need to scrape the bowl down. I don't like the way the machine sounds like a ufo however, I do like the capacity of which I can make my batters.

I have already used this make a variety of things, including breakfast foods, desserts and even bought the Kitchen Aid Grain Mill attachment and have milled my own fresh flour from wheat berries, which was excellent! My sister saw how great it worked and bought a Kitchen Aid mixer for herself as well! Would highly recommend.
