During the "fantastic sale" of this Mixer on-line only ($100.00 dollars off until December 26, 2024), I ordered this 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer on December 9, 2024. It was "a little bit harrowing" at first, because I originally ordered the Matte Black Color thinking it was "in stock," but about one hour before I was supposed to pick it up curbside, they cancelled that order, so I assumed it was because it was out of stock, but their website did not reflect this development. Therefore, very promptly after this fact, later in the evening, I ordered the Silver Color instead to which I again got notice that they had cancelled this order also. I contacted Sam's Club's Customer Service directly the following morning and actually talked to a "live person" on December 10th, 2024, they informed me they actually did have the Silver Color "in stock" and I could still go and pick this one up, to which I did. I have used this Mixer (recently over the Christmas Holiday) and I simply love it. The fact that I got "such a great deal" on the price and the extra accessories (the 3-Quart Bowl, Small Whip and the Spatula) were a wonderful addition for the price. I know that everyone has different experiences with a product not performing well in whatever manner to their expectations when they purchase an item, but I did not. After adjusting the screw that makes sure that the paddle, whip or dough hook did not touch the bowl to scratch it, when I made my homemade baked goods, it worked "flawlessly." I highly recommend this Bowl-Lift Mixer for anyone to purchase and utilize to make your cakes, cookies, rolls or whatever pastry fits your desire. You will not be disappointed in your decision in order to prepare "absolute delicacies" and good cooking to all!!!

My daughters gave me this KitchenAid for a Christmas gift. I was so excited to get it. I have been using this appliance ever since.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago when my Artisan mixer started to cut off while using it. My old mixer was about 17 years old. It was a gift. My stand mixer is nice but I liked the tilted heard mixer better. It’s taking me a while to understand how to clean my blades and wipe down the bowl without removing the bowl. I’m learning how to work with it. I love my mixer and wish I could have two, then my grandma could work beside me. I’ll never buy anything else. I thought it would be heavy but it’s not much heavier than my old mixer. Now I need a few accessories to go with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this set to try. I have been a fan of KitchenAid mixers for some time and still am. I have inherited my mother's, mother-in-law's and with my own smaller model, this makes for my fourth unit. It is extremely durable and versatile. This unit is the Pro model, so it is larger with larger capacity bowl. It also came with a small bowl and its own small whisk for making small batches of frosting. The large capacity stainless steel bowl is just right for the larger batches of bread dough that I make. Attachements include dough hook, whisk, paddle and spatula. Can't have too many spatulas. The unit is lighter than my older, smaller model so it makes it easier to move around the kitchen and put away in a cupboard. The hub allows for several attachement add-on's and the pasta maker I already have will fit. These models come in a variety of colors, mine was a lighter blue. I am sure anyone can find a color to fit their decor.

You are a chef in your own kitchen. This will last a lifetime, and will produce many a great food items

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Way too loud, beaters don’t reach bottom of bowl for good mixing. Returned it after 3 attempts to use it. I have had my Artisan model for 8 years and loved it until was worn and left with 2 speeds. the price to repair is astronomical.

I had been using a different brand stand mixer for years and had no idea what I was missing out on or how much better the KitchenAid brand is. It’s like going from Chevy to a Rolls Royce; there’s just no comparison in the quality. This thing is a power horse and can handle the thickest dough without slowing down at all. I whipped up a batch of whipped cream almost as quickly as opening a container of store bought stuff, and it tasted so much better. I joined a FB group for sharing KitchenAid mixer recipes and found so many things I can’t wait to try…I haven’t been this excited about cooking in years! I love the blue color of this mixer; it’s a cheerful, robin egg blue and brightens up my kitchen. I wasn’t sure if I would like how the bowl raises/lowers instead of having a tilt head, but I found I like it even better. I think it makes the mixer feel more sturdy and I can see inside the bowl better. I can’t wait to start buying some attachments for it and was shocked to see just how many different options there are. From pasta, to meat, to ice cream - you can do almost anything with this mixer! The attachments seem like half the fun and my Christmas list will probably never be without one from now on. If you’ve been thinking about investing in a KitchenAid stand mixer, stop thinking and just do it! Nothing else even comes close and I wish I had gotten one years ago.

As someone who loves to bake and cook, I depend greatly on my stand mixers for preparing large batches of doughs. This mixer is by far the best and most powerful I have yet to own, as it has 11 speeds to choose from, with half-speed options. The bowl is simple to secure and with 5.5 quart capacity, I never have issues with dough quantity in my home! This mixer comes with several attachments-- including a wire whip, large and small, dough hook, etc.. Operation is simple and flawless, and this unit is quiet and simple to clean. I adore the beautiful blue color, as it is classic and chic. Just such a wonderful addition to any bakers kitchen!
