I’ve always wanted one of these stand mixers. Finally decided to get one while it was on major sale. I wish I would have got one years ago. I just got started in sourdough and hand mixing almost deterred me for good. This was a game changer!! The bowl is a little tricky to figure out at first but it doesn’t take long to figure it out. Pro bakers would probably give 3 stars but if you’re just a regular person looking to save time and your arm this is a fantastic buy!!

Love, love, love the mixer. The big bowl makes it easy to add ingredients while mixing. It seems to mix quicker and is not as noisy as my previous mixer. Love the blue color. Lots of great attachments included with many attachments available for purchase.

I love the way this looks in my kitchen, it’s very classy and the color is beautiful ( I got the silver/gray ) Purchase the extra insurance 3 year warranty. It’s more powerful than my old kitchen aid mixer bought over 15 years ago. Will definitely enjoy a lot of baking this year for Christmas. Sam’s club had the best price especially when I got it on sale. Thanks Sam’s ♥️

Great mixer! Bought this for the wife as a Christmas gift, let her open early to make cookies. We have the smaller version for 20+ years now, it still works great just wanted something a little bigger. Works great so far. The included spatula has a slot which is great for cleaning the wire whisks since you're not supposed to put them in the dishwasher.

I am not crazy about the lift arms. The bigger bowl doesnt fit on it until its lifted up but you have to lower it to put the attachments on and off. I like my previous mixer better where the top or head part goes back and the bowls secure to the bottom.

This is not the reliable stand mixer that earned the reputation of being the best. I bought one to replace the mixer that worked like a mule for the last 13 years because it was getting a bit tired. I brought it home, set it up, tested it, and all seemed well. I put my butter and sugar in it to cream for cookie dough, turned it on, it spun twice and the motor burned out...dead. Did some research and found out that Kitchenaid discontinued the 1.3 horse powerful mechanics in 2024 and replaced it with a weak 500 watt AC motor with plastic parts. Im returning the new one and sending my old one in for refurbishment. You can only get the good model refurbished. Im buying a spare refurbished unit because I use this tool every single day. So disappointed with Kitchenaid. I feel completely betrayed.

Really disappointed in this mixer. I set it up for the first time to make cookie dough. Two minutes into using it on the lowest speed it turned off and won't turn back on. After looking it up I found more people that have had this same issue. Wish I'd seen that before buying it.

Bought one as a gift on 11/26/2025. Turned on for 30 seconds and died. Returned and purchased another on 11/28/2025. Turned on for 30 seconds and died. Son and Daughter in-law now have to drive 3 hours to pick up the receipt to try and find a mixer without the speed control issue. KitchenAid ultimately has one job and failed. Won't recall an obvious speed control issue. Letting customers go through the process of diagnosing their manufacturing shortfall instead of being proactive to maintain their brand's good name... Optics indicate GREED. The expectation is simple, KitchenAid: I give you money, you give me a mixer that works. Not one good one in 3, 4 or 5 tries. To Sam's Club: Stop selling these defective units IMMEDIATELY. Return pallets of products back to KitchenAid. Your brand is being tarnished as well; silence is approval!

I've always liked my mom's tilt head KitchenAid mixer, but I wanted one with the ability to mix dough and a little more heavy duty than my current Sunmaid mixer. Cue this 2025 Christmas season sale: wonderful price for a quality item. The Blue Velvet mixer I purchased worked for a grand total of maybe generously 3 seconds before stopping. I tried a different plug, I tried leaving it to rest for a day, nothing could induce it to work again. Figured I just got a dud; it happens, but I could exchange it. When I went back, I was the 3rd person to return it for the same reason that day, and it wasn't even noon yet! The one right before me was also a Blue Velvet color; it was still out waiting to be sent back, I presume. I still needed a mixer, so I looked for the same color. The units they still had were all the light sea foam color, plus one silver. I tried to order another Blue Velvet for pickup upon recommendation of the associate (when I showed her they claimed they were still in stock), and after waiting around for 4 hours in town (I live 40 minutes away), they texted me that they canceled my order because they actually didn't have that color. So now I have to order online or just decide not to buy the mixer. I'm leaning towards the latter. The mixer is a hassle and heavy to lug home and not work. Plus I had to wash the equipment I used. Not worth it, especially before Christmas. Buy straight from the manufacturer or something. I've read the Sams model is different; if that's the case, it's defective.

This KitchenAid replace my old one that is 42 years old and still works.I really wanted a new one and this model is just wonderful!! I love the color (Mineral Water). All the extra bowls and attachments are a dream!! I am SO happy with my new KitchenAid aka Bertha!!!
