The turbo tax expert was not able to tell me how to go to "edit" my choice for Minnesota itemized deductions to Minnesota standard deduction. After a great deal of time, I figured it out myself.

I was looking to save the filed return after filing. But that was removed. Go back to simpler ways Turbotax was for years!!! We need to save a complete return on our hard drives for future reference!!!

I find Turbo Tax very easy to use. And to modify for special crcumstances. I did not like the On-line premier version however. I found the site navigation to be very confusing.

I originally filed online, but I need to file an amended return. It was very easy to purchase a code, download the software, and quickly make the amendment.

Unable to file electronically due to AGI questions. Filing a joint return, we have an AGI on our 2024 1040, but Turbotax then asks for the AGI of each individual included on the return. No such value on the tax return.

We are very satisfied with the TurboTax application and interface. We use both "step-by-step" and "forms" mode, and find each very helpful. You can't beat the price as compared to utilizing a direct accountant.

It was fairly easy to enter everything but I was required to send a Form 8453 with Form 8949. When the software said the print the required documents to send, it did not print Form 8949. This is very confusing

Clunky. I used Claude.ai to decipher what you were looking for. You should have that dialed in. There should be no dead ends or detours in the workflow of getting your taxes done. You are supposed to be the gold standard for tax prep.

found this years to be harder to follow and having to search and get help several times due to not having adequate listings for income for ss disability etc.
