[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Stearns & Foster for providing me with the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop Mattress for free. I have been sleeping on this mattress for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it. The pillowtop is incredibly plush and you just melt into it. I am a stomach sleeper and have trouble finding mattresses that are comfortable for me. This one has the softness of the pillowtop, but still has support, which is working out well for me. I have not been having as much back pain when I wake up. One concern I have is that despite having a firmness below the pillowtop for comfort while sleeping, the sides of the mattress do not seem to have as much side support as other mattresses I've had. I do not know if this will effect it long term, but is one thing I will be keeping an eye out fur issues as I have this mattress long term.

DO NOT PURCHASE THE PILLOW TOP!!!!! We have two body indentions in each side of the mattress where my husband and I sleep. Early on I had an inspection done for this reason and of course they said it wasn't bad enough to do anything about it. We rotate the mattress often but it doesn't help. When the grandchildren spend the night they remind us we have a lumpy bed. And every day, when I make up the bed it is a constant reminder of how bad it looks because you can see the indentions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Lux Estate Firm Pillowtop - Queen (LES1) for free from Stearns & Foster through the BzzAgent sampling program to exchange my honest review. This mattress itself looks luxury. It is pretty thick, but has vents on both sides to keep it cool. Have been using the mattress for more than a month. The mattress is comfortable, haven't cause my back pain up to now. My husband thinks the 'cool to the touch' feather is not as good as it looks like. He feels this mattress is a little hotter than our old one, I don't think so though. One thing I don't like about his mattress is that, it is too tall for me, I am 5'2" and I have to climb onto the bed every time. Even my husband who is 6'2" thinks it is too tall.

I bought the Estate Rockwell 14.5" luxury plush, Queen, prime only two years ago. For the last six months I have been waking up with neck and back pain. I realized it's because the mattress is sagging in the middle. I'm the only one that ever sleeps in the bed and I only weigh about 140 lbs. Thank goodness there is 10-year warranty. But now I have to go through the hassle of getting a credit and coming up with the difference! I purchased this because it was recommended highly by friends. I'm very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress proved to be excellent for my back. I was skeptical for the ultra firmness but it proved that this is what I wanted. I do not use a spring box and I have it on the floor (sleep with my 2yr son). It helped my back pain disappear and it is highly recommended if you are sleeping on your back. Granted, I'm not able to sleep on my stomach any more but I do not care. It is a thick mattress that adds several inches clearance from the ground. Sitting on the edge doesn't create an issue i.e. it doesn't sank in. It may take a couple of days to adjust to it but I will never go back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is comfortable enough, but extremely heavy. It is most difficult to lift while placing a fitted mattress protector and fitted sheet. I wish I would have be appraised of this in the store. It is not practical for anyone with ordinary strength. I noticed the delivery men even had difficulty lifting it to remove the plastic covering. What do you suggest?

Was told this was a great mattress and maybe it is for a single person who is 90 lbs. My spouse and I sleep close to each other and we sink. It is very uncomfortable to wake up in the middle of the night and feel like we are in a hole. We have more than one home so by the time we figured out how uncomfortable I was past the time to exchange. After 15 months we can't take it. Currently buying a new mattress and buying a new bed frame so I can move our bed to the guest room. Waste of money for sure.

My son owned a Cassette Luxery Ultra Plush which was no longer offered so when I called Stearns & Foster they advised me to buy the Lux Estate Pillowtop Soft. The customer service representive told me to try and find a store that carried that mattress before finalizing my order and to try it out. I found the mattress and brought my son along to see if it was comparable to his mattress and we both agreed that it was. I paid for my order and was so excited to receive it. I placed the order in mid June and it was delivered on July 3'd. The first thing that I noticed was that the mattress had a Sealy tag attached to it and I even questioned the guys who delivered it but they were unable to answer my questions. I knew that I ordered it from Stearns & Foster and they take pride on making your mattress so they say. The next thing I did was to lay on the mattress and I knew immediately that it wasn't the same that I laid on in the store. I called customer service several times and they advised me to walk on the mattress to make it softer. The next time they told me that my mattress was firm because of the temperture in my house. In the end they told me to try a featherbed to break it in and when that didn't work I bought a three inch gel mattress topper. After poor customer service I'm stuck with a mattress that cost a lot and is poor quality. My message to anyone who is considering on buying this mattress is just don't waste your money! I had a problem and customer service hung up on me several times before getting someone to help me. Because of them and their advice I have a firm mattress that I'm highly dissatisified with. I saved up to buy a mattress like my son had because I have pemanent muscle spasms but I feel like I'm laying on a brick pile. I'm using the gel topper so I can at least tolerate it. It's by far the most expensive mistake that I have ever made!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a firmer mattress than the one I had. This is perfect. It's firm , but not hard. It's super comfortable. My daughter shares my bed. My favorite part about the mattress is that when she moves around, it doesn't wake me. The whole bed doesn't move or shake when she moves around in the middle of the night. The mattress has also been helping my back feel better. I'm not waking up with back pain since I switched to this mattress! I will never buy another brand! I am so impressed with the overall quality of the mattress. The thickness is about double what my other mattress was as well.

The sleep I get is worth every penny this mattress retails for. The firmness is comfortable for both myself and my wife and we are very picky about firmness of a mattress. The look of the mattress tells you all you need to know from the very beginning, it looks well made. I will be a customer of this brand for life.
