I was sent Olay Regenerist Niacinamide + Peptide 24 Hydrating Face Moisturizer for the purpose of review. I find the Olay Regenerist line to be very similar to Avon's Anew (now named Isa Knox) skin care line as a comparison. This particular cream is slightly thinner than other Olay creams I have tried. It is also scented more heavily than I find other creams to be, but it's by no means overpowering. Just something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to fragrance. This is the perfect cream for someone who needs more moisture than a lotion provides, but prefers something just a tad lighter in the summer. This will be the perfect cream for me to use during that transition period in the fall when the weather is getting colder and your skin starts to feel a bit more dry but you aren't anywhere near ready for a very thick, heavy, dense cream that you might use during the coldest months of winter.

Upon first hearing about this product, I was hoping it might be for oily skin types possibly due to the niacinamide in the formula, but I was quite mistaken. This has a thick consistency and is quite moisturizing. It made my skin greasy waking up after using it at bedtime, so I just have been putting I It on in the morning. It feels great on the skin. I feel like it has potential in the week I've been using it, however I don't think it's for me because of it being so heavy on my already oily skin. I do still recommend it for the vast majority that have combination or dry skin . It could easily become your favorite addition in your skincare routine.

It is definitely very good for any skin type I would say since I never broke out from using it. Although I really liked it, it did leave my skin looking a little shiny. I think this moisturizer would be better for my combination/oily skin in colder weather. Oh it has a nice subtle clean fragrance too.

My dermatologist recommended a daily moisturizer for me and specifically mentioned this brand. The texture of the cream is so soft and it absorbs quickly into the skin. There is no noticeable fragrance and the feel is not oily. I have noticed my skin has no dry areas. I apply every night prior to sleep.

But I was actually thrilled once I started using it: it is so light and actually refreshing that I WANT to use it. My skin looks better and that is what I wanted. Excellent.
