WHEN I SEEN THE WASHER, I STOPPED AND REALIZED THIS ONE WAS FOR ME. IT WAS EASY TO ASSEMBLE. THE ONLY THING IS THE STARTER PULL CORD IS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE WASHER. I'M RIGHT HANDED AND AT FIRST IT WAS AKWARD TO START IT. NOW AFTER A FEW TIMES OF USING THE WASHER I WAS ABLE TO STAND ON THE LEFT SIDE AND USE M,Y RIGHT HAND. THIS IS NOT A PROBLEM AND THE WASHER IS A GREAT PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS WASHER. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. THANK YOU. ZONK.

Bought this unit from my local dealer about 4 years ago. It's been incredible. Has started every time and has done everything I wanted it to do. People...USE ETHANOL FREE GAS!!! Most people use it once and put it up for 6 months and it won't start, or run correctly. It's the gas you're using. I've used this to pressure wash my deck, concrete and dock. Even using lake water through it. Probably not good for it, but it ran like a champ. I love it and would definitely recommend this pressure washer.

Upon receiving it, getting it ready to operate...it wouldn't crank. Switch wires were disconnected. The whole unit will snatch around or turn over upon trying to start. The carburetor failed after a short time and would not idle no matter what was done. The fold down handle is very flimsy and poorly designed . Too many plastic parts guaranteed to fail. The water supply hookup is in a bad location. The gas engine is a poor engine at best. I didn't get 1 years worth of service from it for home use. I'm sadly disappointed. This did not live up to Generac's past good reputation.

purchased my unit model G0079540 in May of 2022. Worked great until this year. Pump cracked at a screw hole and took away all the pressure. The pump that came with the unit is not the stock pump for the 79540. Contacted the factory and they brought up the schematics for the pump attached to my unit. Cannot just buy the top cap for the pump. Have to purchase the entire pump for $185.00 plus tax and shipping. Well over $200.00. Only paid $400 for the whole unit. Not a good investment if you only get a little over 3 years out of machine.

I was disappointed with no soap reservoir,the pressure hose is not very good, twists up and easy to kink, but it will get the job done. The purchase online a delivery was very prompt. I like the fuel cut off feature. I bought a surface washer which helped tremendously

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a pressure washer for awhile now and had done quite a bit of research. In the sub $500 range this was the only one I could find that you could adjust the pressure on without using different nozzles to achieve it. Assembly was fairly easy and it seems fairly well built. Most of the home pressure washers have a lot of cheap feeling plastic and almost seem toy like and this one is no different. I've used it a few times and just completed the first oil change at about 5 hours of use. As with any of the other machines the hose that comes with them is cheap and short so I've bought a longer and better quality one to use, but that's no knock on this one, as it's what they all seem to come with. The wand is of real good quality and I'd say better than comes with most machines in this price range. The only option this doesn't have that a couple of the competitors have that I wish this had was to idle down to a quieter state when not actively running water through it. But I really like the variable pressure, it just adjusts the engine's RPM's to control, but works well. It has started on first or second pull every time I've started it and runs pretty smooth. I'll use this this spring to clean the driveway and back deck, but about 99% of it's life will be spent washing cars. We've got e and I like keeping them clean. I can't speak for reliability or durability long term but so far with it I would buy it again and highly recommend this model.

Purchased a 2.5 GPM unit at 2900 PSI. after 10 years of service the pump was worn out and needed replacement. Upon researching replacement pumps found out the unit came with a 2.2 GPM ay 2600 PSI pump (SRMV 2.2G26 model pump). Disappointed that the unit was misrepresented. Replaced pump with a 2.5 GPM at 3000 PSI and it made a world of difference in performance. Engine has been excellent starts on first or second pull every time.

Looks great and easy to use. Started on first pull! Great packaging.
