Built to work!

This is the first pressure washer I've owned, that is quality built. It hasn't shipped a beat. I highly recommend Generac to anyone that is skeptical of their quality and price.

Excellent pressure washer.

I bought my General One Wash 5 years ago. This thing is a beast. It starts on every the first or second pull every time. The washer always works great. I have had to replace seals on the pressure washer gun a couple times. For all of you griping about your units not starting, I only run alcohol free fuel in my unit. I change the oil every season. I always put the pump storage product in the pump when I finish using it if it will not be used for a couple weeks. In the fall after I wash my tractor and mower, I change the oil, fill the fuel tank to the top treat the pump and put in storage. Remember, the alcohol fuels ruin carburetors if left untreated with Stabil.

Peace of mind!

Since installing this unit a month ago weve experienced 3 power outages and couldnt be more pleased with how quickly the unit kicks on and keeps our home functional and comfortable.

Generac 3600 psi. I've had mine for several years now and the only thing to complain about is where the the wand screws into the gun. It's very weak connection and I have broken it three or four times. For those of you having difficulties starting your unit…place the gun on the rack with the trigger activated, choke it, start it and unchoke it. It will start right up. Let it idle for a sec, deactivate gun, throttle it up and your good to go.

This machine is a friendly user but,,

I would it give 5 stsr if it wasn't for the detachable handle. Is wery easy to remove and attached and i think that the probllem there is not a thight fit and when the engine is running the handle start to shake making an undesirable noise. I opted to remove the handle when the machine is on. That is why i only give 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐.

High Power with adjustable controls

The first unit I picked up didn't work so contacted dealer and it took 3 weeks to get corrected by generac. Once unit was home new one works great lots of power. Remember to read all directions before you start using. Generac manual says you must run water for 30 seconds before starting!

Should be recalled-carbon monixide risk

I bought this pressure washer almost two years ago. Used it twice the first year and once breifly this year, about two weeks ago. It has electric start, with a battery. I went out to use it to finish the exterior of the house and it was dead, and out of gas. I took the battery out and charged it, and when I put it back in, it immediately started cranking. After looking everything over it had started itself in the garage and ran itself out of gas. I found that several other models are under recall for this very thing. My concern is the pump running all that time with no water, and the starter that sounds like a 75 chevy truck starting, now. I was told I have three days for the parts to be under warranty and it is not included in the recall. I dont feel like enough attention was paid at the severity of this. I doubt it was documented that it has the same problems.

Expensive Repair Costs

I bought my 2900 PSI power washer in 2020. I got 4-years of operating from the unit. I went to start it up this spring and couldn't get the unit to turn over. I took the unit to an authorized Generac repair shop near me, and I was told the carburetor was damaged beyond repair and a new carburetor was needed. The repair cost was half the original price of a new unit. I elected not to invest in the repair and bought another brand. I expected this Generac powered washer to last longer than this. I did get 4-years of operation from the unit which is a cost of $75/year if I amortize the purchase price over the 4-years. I assume that's what I would have spent if I rented a power washer from a local equipment rental vendor. That's the reason I don't give it a lower rating. Nevertheless, I was disappointed and don't recommend buying this unit.

PRODUCT WAS BROKEN WHEN IT ARRIVED

PRODUCT DID NOT WORK WHEN IT ARRIVED, MAINTENANCE FOREMAN HAD TO CALL AND GET REPLACEMENT PARTS. WE ARE CURRENTLY WAITING ON THE REPLACEMENT PARTS TO BE DELIVERED. BRAND NEW PRODUCT SHOULD WORK JUST FINE WITHOUT HAVING TO REPAIR IT BEFORE IT IS EVER USED.
