Dead after 3 uses.

General states - "High Performance Motor – Brushless motor for increased performance and durability" After 2 years, 6 months and 3 uses, this washer died. Sorry, but I don't consider that any kind of durability. Washer was consistently stored out of the weather. I would love to see Generac make this right, but I don't hold much hope.

High Power with adjustable controls

The first unit I picked up didn't work so contacted dealer and it took 3 weeks to get corrected by generac. Once unit was home new one works great lots of power. Remember to read all directions before you start using. Generac manual says you must run water for 30 seconds before starting!

M22 15mm. Really???

Tractor Supply censored my review (they're who I purchased the GC2700W model # 8888 from) so I will leave my review here. I'm pretty disheartened they did that, I thought they were better than that. I prefer to be honest, regardless of whether or not that benefits the company who made or is selling a product. So, I'm getting to the Generac model # 8888 GC2700W. M22 15mm. Some people will know what that means others like me (before this purchase) will not. The M22 is the thread measurement for the hose attachment to the machine and to the spray gun. Now, the 15mm is the size of the insert that has tha little washer attached and slips into the fitting so to make a water tight seal when the M22 threads are tightened down. If you may ever want to add any aftermarket accessories in regards to hoses or different style of spray gun such as a shorter style for washing close up, then keep reading. All other common pressure washers use 14mm for hoses and spray guns. What this means for is that we the consumer need to find on the internet and adapter for 15mm to 14mm so that this pressure washer works with everyone else's hoses and spray guns. Pick up (2) adapters. One to connect to the main unit and one to connect to the spray gun (that comes with this package). Then you can use a 50' (or longer) hose from other manufacturers. The 25' hose that comes with this package from Generac is very nice. I have an older Ryobi and the hose that comes with the Generac is 2x better. Anyway, hope you leaned something and hopefully Generac won't be such a chicken like Tractor Supply and prevent an honest review from being shared.

Overall good pressure washer

This is a great machine I like the adjustable dial the low oil and low water pressure shut down are also very important for the longevity of the washer quite for a pressure washer with plenty of power also like all the accessories available for it toy

good power, big gas tank

I really love this PW. Does a great job. My only drawback is the cranking it up. I was doing a job for someone and was using it for about an hour, then tried to crank it up and with hardly anywhere to your foot. It fell backward and broke the incoming water supply. It has been weeks waiting on my parts and still no answer on delivery.

love it so far

This is a heavy duty tool fit for all tasks I can think of. Any final review is contingent upon how it weathers through winter storage, if the pump seals last and the winterizing fluid I purchased from Generac for it works well, then we should be all good. I am worried about storing it in sub-zero temperatures. I love the convenient storage location of the various nozzles, and the wand is nicely designed. Minor complaints: the suction tube for detergents floats, need a way to have this stay submerged in the bottom of a bucket/bottle. Clamps etc. I've tried just restrict the detergent flow. Maybe a weight of some sort. Also this needs to be kept off the hot engine, I used twist ties strategically placed along the hose. Second, the main hose is unwieldy, but it's tough to come up with a solution to this - the hose holds a lot of pressure and needs to be sturdy, but that makes it tough to coil/manage. But moreover, this also needs to be kept away from the hot engine. I tried looming it up with what appears to be a plastic hangar (perhaps intended for this purpose?) near the wand storage area, but this wore and ultimately broke due to the high stress the hose puts on it. Some sort of a sturdy loom is needed to keep the hose from getting destroyed by contact with the hot engine. This is admittedly not a huge risk, as the frame around the engine does a decent job of preventing incidental contact, but it can happen, and when you're busy working you can't easily babysit the hose. Lastly, for anyone washing large patio/deck areas, the rotary attachment is an absolute godsend. This thing works, and is a great value. It literally reduces job time by 400% or more. Keep in mind this is a serious tool - my wife is too small to handle this thing - it pushes enough force to jerk the wand and push her. It does what it's designed to do, but the hobbits in your life may wish to stick with a garden hose.
