Hope the 2nd one is better

Having a 2nd one sent to me. I hope this one doesn't leak dirty water from the back. Like the 1st one did. Fingers crossed all around decent cleaner.

I clean carpets because I have animals. This product does a good job between professional cleanings.

Broke after a year

I bought this machine last year, in less than a year one of the rollers stripped in the middle of use. Can't find the part to fix it!

No I would not buy again

I have only used it a handful of times, water will not release and won't pick up what little water does come out

Don't wast your money

Cleaner worked great until the belt broke. Hoover does not offer a replacement belt. Called Hoover service centers and they could not help.

Didn't work long

Machine worked great. Used it maybe 3 times then it quit sucking up the dirty water. Will probably never buy Hoover again.

I will not buy! Regret buying the one I have now!!!

It's great until time to vacuum up the water!!! It has no suction! It's a pain to have water on your rug and no way to get it up!

Hello Carolyn, If you notice loss of suction in your Hoover SmartWash Cleaner, it is likely caused by a clog or blockage in the system. This can occur from build up of solution in the system if it is not flushed after each use. We can recommend using warm water to flush the system 2-3 times to help clear any blockages. Alternatively, there may be a clog near the base nozzle, check for build up of hair, dirt and other debris. Check for any build up and remove it from the unit to improve suction. Love short lived

This thing was awesome then after about a year in a half it is leaking from the inside and I have tried everything to make it stop.

Made my carpet all wrinkled and looks shrunk

So just purchased this and i think it shrunk my carpet cause it's all bunched up and won't sit flat anymore
