Canyon Bakehouse Gluten-free, Country White Bread

•Glad to find gluten-free bread to use for peanut butter toast, cheesy egg sandwiches, and french toast, •Keep bread frozen, so it won't break apart too easily

Overpriced Mini Slices

The slices are tiny %26 the texture isn't great. I understand gluten-free products are more expensive to make %26 manufacture but the value is very disappointing for the size %26 taste of the product.

Edible Bread

First time trying Gluten Free Bread. No previous Gluten Free Bread to compare. The slices are small. It is a bread that will need to be air tight to prevent losing it moisture.

Love everything Canyon Bakehouse makes. If your household need gluten free, then it's the way to go. I prefer the off the shelf "fresh" loaves but they also have other varieties that are frozen if you have freezer space. Excellent bread.

I recently read a book , Ultra Processed people. The author wrote about the additives and how bad they are. Xanthan gum is extremely bad. It's in nearly everything, especially gluten-free baked items. I'm not eating gluten-free items or anything with Xanthan gum any longer. I returned the Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free bread.

A decent gluten free bread.

It’s really hard to find good gluten free bread. Walmart used to carry a brand called Sam’s choice (I think it’s was store brand) and it was by far the best gluten free bread I had ever found, but when they stopped carrying it this is the closest I have found to that breads taste and texture. You have to toast it otherwise it’s is like eating a dry kitchen sponge, texture wise, but toasted its actually pretty decent.

For gluten free bread, Canyon Bakery is hands down the best. It still needs to be toasted, even for a PB%26J, so that it holds up well. The slices are shorter than your normal loaf of bread but best to not eat a ton of bread anyway, gluten free or not. Perfect for avocado toast or for a quick breakfast I toast it and put a microwaved sausage patty on top.

Small, drier than expected but good taste

Tastes good, not great. Close to “real” white bread, However the slices are much smaller than regular bread and it’s much harder so it’s only good when it’s toasted. If you’re just looking for a small slice of toast with your breakfast, that is gluten-free then this is your bread!
