Ive been using MacInTax & Turbo Tax for over 40 years.  Wouldn't consider any other option.

I had a great experience with Turbo Tax. This software is so helpful and very easy to work with.

Turbo Tax was excellent!

Importing information into TurboTax was a nightmare. I had to repeat it many times and then where were errors that I had to manually correct. I have requested for YEARS that charities appear in alphabetical order rather than randomly. TurboTax ignores me.

TurboTax 2025 a Disappointment

got the job done.   Desktop preferred because it gives the running result of fed and state at top.  I tried online edition and that appeared late in the interview process.  And I can do other family taxes on same desktop purchase, not true for online.  Desktop cost is lower than online.  I see Intuit is pushing online.
