TurboTax makes it easy to get my taxes filed. It helps me through the complexities of tracking self employment.

Better than in previous years, although too many errors that I have to go back and correct. I've been a user since 1994.

filing went smoothly, and was easy to modify via forms. Help was useful. Avoided $1k in accountant fees

So I love turbo tax especially because when you ask for help you get it from knowledgeable folks. Thank you.

Total fail on e-file due to it not taking the spouse's AGI number. Tried every combination (zero, last year's PIN, AGI that was from a joint return) and they all fail after waiting 15 minutes each time. Product also does not handle multiple forms (1116, 1099-q, etc.). Over 8 different rejections so far. Will have to print instead.

I find TurboTax easy to use. Explanation and flags for review are helpful. But for some reason, they refuse to add form 8621 to the package. It is not included. They have other foreign forms (e.g., Form 8938) but not this one. This prevents me from e-filing. Very frustrated. For the price, it is should be included.

Usually, there are no problems. The only thing I have a problem with is that I bought the software and was supposed to receive a $10 discount on filing the state taxes. However, while processing, the cost went back up to $25 instead of $15. I did not get what I paid for.

This is probably the last year I use this product. Honestly it leaves a lot of be desired. Last year I used TurboTax and it could not load my info to this years! -1 star Because I could not load my info I could not compare last years numbers to this year in case I missed something -1 star. (on this luckily the IRS noticed I did not include my 1095-A the is a $650 credit for me!) Finally another star lost because it they got rejected after I received multiple notices that this is the max refund and everything AND GUARANTEES! I GOT REJECTED! And the cherry on top was because I failed to file Form 1095-A which gave me another $650 credit. So the IRS wanted to give me that credit not TurboTax. To me $650 is a lot of money to you?

Overall, no problems with filing my taxes (Feds plus MO and CO). My disappointment is in your payment process. I paid for Audit Defense, one additional State and then $20 to e-file each state. First, recommend you just bake in the price to e-file for the states. Feds are free. You offer one state to create the return for free. When I bought the second state, HIGHLY recommend you allow the user to e-file for each state that is either offered or purchased. Don't be like the airlines for baggage...just make it part of your service. Second, when I did have to pay for these three services, I had to fill out the EXACT same screens as though TT didn't know who I was (i.e. name, address, billing address, credit card info)--again, THREE times! I found it maddening that even after "Saving my Payment info to my account"; your system didn't have a PoP-up to ask "Do you want to use the saved credit card from your account?". Bottomline: what is the purpose of having to sign into your TT account if your payment system doesn't use any of the information from the account? Thanks for listening.
