Two things; directions are confusing and bolts for rope ladder were too short.

Great swingset! Disappointed that the slides and swings get too hot for the kids to play on.

This playset from Lifetime is beautiful, sturdy, well-made, and relatively easy to put together. There is no doubt that the instructions could be amended, ever so slightly, in a few areas to make them more clear and easier to understand. But that goes for almost anything purchased today that requires end user assembly. I believe there were 3 or 4 times where I had to redo an area because I misread or couldn’t clearly understand the instructions. Luckily, any issues were caught before other sections were assembled. I was able to get the first half of the set put together by myself - not too easily but I did it. I see no way a person could go any further working by their self when reaching the part where the green safety rails and the deck flooring go on. There were just too many times I needed the assistance of my Dad to help pull, push, or twist a part to get the holes to line up. I honestly can’t recommend this playset enough. It’s a perfect size for our backyard space - not too small but not too big. I was enthralled with some of the larger sets Lifetime offers, but am so glad I didn’t let the grandeur of those sets override common sense for our space. Total work time was around: 4.5 hours solo / 4 hours with help = 8.5 hours of total assembly time
