Second of all it has so many attachments, I used the grater for cheese and was pleasantly surprised how easy it way. I also love the mixer helped me make cake batter easily and left me with a perfectly smooth batter! Love it!

Handles heavy dough so much better than my old tilt-head mixer—no wobbling or struggling. I’ve really been putting it through its paces and it hasn’t missed a beat. The bowl-lift design feels super sturdy, and I like that I can make bigger batches without worrying about overloading it. If you bake a lot or deal with thick doughs, this thing is a beast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this KitchenAid 5.5 quart stand mixer! It is so powerful and makes my cakes light and fluffy when using the wire-whip to mix. I have made bread with the dough hook and it comes out perfect every time. The flat beater is great for making cookie dough. I love that the beater and dough hook are coated as my previous ones were not so I couldn’t wash them in the dishwasher without them turning black. The small bowl and mini whip are perfect for beating eggs. This mixer is much quieter than my other mixers which is very nice. This mixer is such a step up and I appreciate the power and ability to use this stand mixer for all my baking needs. I highly recommend this KitchenAid 5.5 quart mixer!

I have problem when doing bread and like 2 or even 3 cups of flour the big bowl is very big and the beater doesn’t touch the bottom, and for the small bowl that comes with it, it doesn’t have beater. It drives me crazy for this reason

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Heavy & durable. This model works great. However if you were use to a mixer that has a turn table, this does not turn. The beater tools do a good job of gathering your ingredients together. You will have to stop. & start to use spatula to scrape sides of bowl. I say the kitchenaid products are overrated in price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice stand mixer. Previously I had a tilt head, and this bowl-left does take a little getting used to. The power behind it is great. I enjoy the dual size bowls that were included. The smaller size bowl is very handy to have and I find myself using it more often than I thought I would. The gorgeous blue color gives a nice pop of color to my neutral kitchen. All the attachments were very easy to change and clean.

I've used this to help mix my cake batters and frostings with ease. It blends evenly, better than any I've had. The whip attachment makes the fluffiest toppings and cookies I've done in a long time. I'm enjoying trying new things to cook and bake (and cooking as never been my thing but maybe I didn't have the right tools aka KitchenAid mixer)
