I love it!!!!!

I love it. I don’t know how I lived without it. I love the extras, the small bowl, scraper and whisk. I made pizza dough last weekend and will be trying fresh pasta next. It is easy to use and there is a lot of information that KitchenAid provides in their manual, their YouTube videos and recipes online. When you make it yourself, you can control what goes in and I believe it will always tase better.

Love my new mixer!

I decided to upgrade my mixer when this one went on sale. The smaller one I had before wouldn't shut off (the slide lever needed repairs). I have a small home based cookie business so I use my mixer to make alot of dough & icing. My 5 qt is probably 15-20 yrs old and still works but could use a tune up. I love that this new one has slower options. I no longer have to deal with flour flying out of the mixer because the lower level lets me slowly incorporate my dry ingredients. This also came with an extra smaller bowl and a cool spatula with a clipped tip that makes it easier to clean off ingredients off the blade. Very happy with my purchase. I also love the color. I chose "Ice" which is aqua. The picture looks like it has a more sparkly/metallic finish, but its actually matte.

Probably the best stand mixer for residential use

Strong, dependable, versatile. I have owned a number of stand mixers early in my marriage, and it seemed like they would last for 3-5 years. Then I bought a Kitchenaid and it lasted forty years. When it finally needed to be replaced, there was no question about what to replace it with. This new mixer is perfect for me now that I am a senior citizen as I still make a lot of bread, but I also find the small bowl/whisk handy for making dips, sauces, (mayonnaise!) or half-recipes of cakes, cookies, etc. I anticipate that this mixer will live longer than I will at this point and my granddaughter will inherit it when I'm gone. I am confident that it will serve her well for many, many years.

KitchenAid is well worth the money!!

I purchased this KitchenAid Mixer as a backup for the 2 I already have. I'm an in-home baker & use my mixer quite often. One that I currently use was my Moms and is probably over 30 years old, but still works great. KitchenAid is a brand that you can trust and will last for a very long time if treated well.

Was a gift from my father and Sister

My father and sister put together to purchase this for me. I’m a Savory and pastry Chef. I trained on Kitchenaid when I was in school. One of the best mixer ever made. Tilting head mixers don’t have the life span of these. The delivery was great. The delivery lady made sure it was the right address and person before bringing it out of the vehicle. Very nice and professional. I didn’t order it, so I can’t say how the ordering portion was. But, it arrived early and tracking was a breeze. I’m a Walmart+ member, so I love Walmart and Sam’s service.

Works great!

Made a double batch of bread and no problem kneading for 10 minutes! The bowls and whisk in 2 sizes are an excellent addition. I researched this across multiple forms and hands down the best price was Sam's Club! Recommend by me.

Lot's of power but hard to remove attachment

The 5.5 qt mixer has plenty of power and the larger bowl means ingredients don't spill over the top. However, since the head doesn't tilt you have to remove the attachment by twisting and lowering it into the bowl of ingredients, even with the bowl lowered. Also be sure to read the instructions on how to remove/insert the bowl. It fits over a peg on each side and a spring catch in the back. It's easy once you see how it's done but not necessarily intuitive.

Beautifully mixer

This is a beautiful mixer. It is very sturdy. However, i returned it because it's big and very heavy. It's more commercial. I didn't realize the weight. Again, this is not a negative review.

Should be easier to use

I wanted this version of KitchenAid mixer because the more basic version was difficult to stir mixture and get to the bottom of the bowl without my hands ending up coated with batter. So I thought the lift feature of this mixer would solve that problem. Now I have a different challenge. If I put my ingredients in the mixer bowl, then place it in the stand, there’s no room for the paddle. If I attach the paddle after the bowl is in place, again I have to shove it into my ingredients. I thought the shallow bowl and the lift feature would make mixing a dream but instead it’s a struggle. Why is this the mixer of choice for cooking programs?

Just stopped working, weird

I bought this several weeks ago, washed all of the bowls and utensils and just stored it due to being out of town. I used it for the first day today and in the middle of my mixing it just stopped working. I tried a different outlet but that did not help. Not sure what happened but my previous Kitchen Aid that I had for almost 10 years never had an issue. Glad I bought the extended warranty.
