[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a Kitchen Aid Artisan mixer for 20 years and have loved it. I upgraded to this mixer a couple months ago and have not been disappointed. It stayed still on my counter (no flipping around) when kneading bread for 5-10 minutes. It’s consistently mixed well, with both the large and smaller bowls. I like that it slowly starts when turned on so that I don’t have to brace for flour or powdered sugar flying out the bowl at the start of mixing. Very satisfied and looking forward to many hours of future use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago when my Artisan mixer started to cut off while using it. My old mixer was about 17 years old. It was a gift. My stand mixer is nice but I liked the tilted heard mixer better. It’s taking me a while to understand how to clean my blades and wipe down the bowl without removing the bowl. I’m learning how to work with it. I love my mixer and wish I could have two, then my grandma could work beside me. I’ll never buy anything else. I thought it would be heavy but it’s not much heavier than my old mixer. Now I need a few accessories to go with it.

I thought this version would give better access to adding ingredients while mixer is running. I would have to give the better rating to the tilt version. It is also quicker to lift mixer than lower the bowl in this mixer. If I’m going to recommend mixers tilt vs.bowl lift, I would give the nod to tilt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this KitchenAid 5.5 quart stand mixer! It is so powerful and makes my cakes light and fluffy when using the wire-whip to mix. I have made bread with the dough hook and it comes out perfect every time. The flat beater is great for making cookie dough. I love that the beater and dough hook are coated as my previous ones were not so I couldn’t wash them in the dishwasher without them turning black. The small bowl and mini whip are perfect for beating eggs. This mixer is much quieter than my other mixers which is very nice. This mixer is such a step up and I appreciate the power and ability to use this stand mixer for all my baking needs. I highly recommend this KitchenAid 5.5 quart mixer!

Easy to move up and down, and also adjust to the right depth for whichever beater you are using. This is my favorite simply because it comes with a 3 quart bowl, which is wonderful to use when you are making a smaller amount. So handy - I love it!

It has so much versatility by providing me with the ability to choose from 11 different speeds. This set included 2 different size bowls and 5 different attachments. I can now make just about anything in the kitchen. I really love this professional style mixer!

I bought this mixer a year ago. Very shortly after(like weeks) the mixer attachment had a paint chip, but nothing could be done so I let it go. The mixer itself is amazing. I bought the shredder/slicer attachment and use that all the time instead of buying shredded cheese. It’s black and looks beautiful on our countertop.

I have many of your appliances in my kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, food processor etc. This was my second stand mixer. Bought it to up grade my 20+ year old machine. Wanted to try the pro model and loved the color. I had to learn the new features, but once past the trial period, I love it! My daughter was very happy too because she was the recipient of my first mixer to bless her kitchen.
