It comes with plenty of attachments to be able to make anything you can imagine. I found the lift feature to be pretty simple and helps with heavier batches. I make lots of cookies around the house but I also love to use my Kitchenaid mixer to shred chicken breast. It makes shredding a breeze and is super fast.

The ability to select the speed we need and the various attachments make mixing batter, dough, and even shredding chicken super easy. This mixer came with an additional smaller bowl, attachment, and spoon for making whipped cream and spooning it out. Absolutely happy with this mixer and the color brightens up our dark kitchen!

Its to hard too constantly take it off and on when i need to add ingredients. Also I miss having the handle like I had on my old kitchen aid mixer. It does the job, but miss my old kitchen aid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer! It's an excellent machine, a true workhorse in the kitchen. The 3-point locking bowl is a must for me. It holds the bowl in place while I'm mixing heavy ingredients, leaving my hands freer to quickly incorporate additional ingredients and, allowing everything to stay closer to the best temperatures. The 5.5 Quart Bowl is large enough to handle several batches of dough at once, and big enough to whip enough potatoes for my large holiday gatherings. My only want is for a handle on the mixing bowl. The included flat beater, dough hook, and wire whip had me all ready to tackle every dessert I've ever wanted to make. I also find the included 3-qt stainless steel bowl, mini whip, and spatula very useful. I highly recommend this KitchenAid stand mixer, it's beauty, and functionality are outstanding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Way too loud, beaters don’t reach bottom of bowl for good mixing. Returned it after 3 attempts to use it. I have had my Artisan model for 8 years and loved it until was worn and left with 2 speeds. the price to repair is astronomical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this KitchenAid 5.5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer. It is strong and sturdy. It has plenty of power and has worked great for the things I have mixed with it. I was surprised at how simple and easy it is to operate once you become familiar with it. The bowl firmly snaps into place and is held very securely but also pops out with little effort when you are ready to remove it from the stand. A lever moves the lift up and down. There is also an adjustment screw to fine tune the bowl placement so the beater or whisk just barely clears the bowl to maximize mixing without hitting the bowl and causing wear and damage. It is simple and easy to attach and remove the various attachments. There is a wide selection of speed settings so you can work to your needs. The color finish of the stand is beautiful and very high quality that will not be easily damaged. It is easy to clean. The materials and build of the stand are very high quality. This is a very sturdy mixer that will last a long time. This set comes with many pieces. Having the smaller bowl as well as the regular size bowl is really nice when I'm working with small amounts. The different attachments are great for different jobs and the spatula is shaped just right to work perfectly with this set up. All of the included items are high quality, function great, and are very durable. This mixer really does make things easier and more convenient. I am happily surprised at how much difference it makes. I am so glad I tried this mixer. I highly recommend it.

With 2x the power in the bowl than my old tilt head mixer, this bowl-lift version can mix even the toughest of ingredients with ease. The 3-point locking bowl provides stability for mixing heavy, dense ingredients, giving me complete control and precision over my baking. I love the 11 distinct speeds, including 1/2 speed, which allows me to adjust the speed according to my needs, no matter what I'm using the mixer for. The 5.5 quart capacity gives me plenty of space to cook or bake to my heart's desire. The attachments are incredibly easy to attach and detach, making it effortless to switch between tasks. I upgraded from a 20 yr old smaller KitchenAid mixer and am so glad that I did. The multiple bowls and attachments are a must as is the bigger size for all of the baking that I do. The ice cream maker works fabulous on it as well. Very happy with this purchase!
