Bought this last summer and we love it! Assembly was challenging, even with 4 of us because of heavy pcs, and the high roof, but we did it. If I buy another, I would pay for set up. ;) This gazebo is so well built, sturdy and good looking. Survived winter no problem. Highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had spent years running out during high winds or thunder storms, climbing on a ladder to pull the cover off my old lightweight patio gazebo. I desperately wanted to upgrade but the cost of building my own was crazy expensive. Then comes the Cordova! What a huge upgrade! Unit looks great even like I built it myself (well I did!). It was a lot of work to build but I’m very happy with the outcome. Be sure to give yourself time to build it. It does take time and extra help. Don’t rush and layout all of the parts. You’ll need extra help lifting the roof panels into place. They are not light. Plan ahead, take your time and it will be well worth the effort. They also gave one or two extra of every fastener. No missing parts! That all said, I did have a number of chipped or warped boards. Careful planning allowed me to cover or straighten most of them. Backyard Discovery did offer to send me extra stain (which was nice!) but haven’t seen it yet. Will be adding my own electrical and ceiling fan in the next week. Just in time to enjoy the summer!

My wife and her friend saw this gazebo at Sams Warehouse for $1600. Price was right so we ordered it right away. They let us know that Sams had ordered 6 of these and wasnt expected to come in for quite a while. So I got on to the internet to find it somewhere else. Now when I was doing this it was right before Mothers Day and this was going to be perfect for her in the backyard. In my search i found this same gazebo on your website Backyard Discovery. But at a substantually higher cost $2400. My wife didnt like it but I ordered it anyway knowing it was going to be here the following week. . Timing was perfect for her Mothers Day. I bought it and our sons came to put it together on Mothers Day. I have to say this kit was really well thought out. the instructions were so easy to follow. Even for this dum truckdriver. It is so well built, sturdy and it totally transformed the look of my deck and backyard. There is enough space for a table seating 8 underneath and still room to walk around. I chose it because compared to every other brand, the build quality and ratings for wind and snow were better. Plus it looks beautiful! You can't build one this good, this safe, and looks this nice on your own for the price. I added some fans with remotes up inside and some lights around the edge. I get nothing but compliments on it. So glad I chose Backyard Discovery brand. Highly recommend.

BUY THIS NOW! we bought this gazebo about a month ago and wish we had years ago. In our subdivision there is little shade, this gazebo gives us the perfect back patio with coverage from the sun! Delivery, instructions, parts, wood quality, video step by step instructions were great, everything packaged and presented nicely! Another great feature is the electric outlet box, very helpful and convenient for hanging lights or phones/ music. We are very pleased and happy we purchased. **only one issue, I’m trying to find a sunshade/ misquote black net for this gazebo. I see other brands have their own made for their products but I’m having a hard time finding one that would work with this particular one. **

The gazebo is very sturdy and looks nice the pre drilled holes are not always exactly where they should be and you will need to drill some that werent drilled out clean. it woukd be well worth the 650$ for installation as we spent about 20-25 hrs assembling this. overall i am happy with the finished product and it seems like it will withstand the new england winters.

Was in need for shade on my patio. I ordered it on a Sunday and had it by Friday. I’m a 59 year old female. a friend of mine who’s older helped me pre assemble what we could (the beams and roof). We had never ever done a project of this size. We consider ourselves handy but a little bit of construction knowledge would have helped us. We made lots of calls to guys we knew and her husband helped a bit too. Instructions were easy to follow and at the end it all went together fine. If I did it again would take 1/2 the time. Definitely watch your critical measurements. Also take the time to make sure the trim pieces on the roof are secure prior to installing it. I did not put the trim on the beams where it attached to the roof. We have our periods of lots of moisture in Nebraska a thought it was a catch for moisture. Looks great though. It’s only been done for less than a week.

The directions were clear and detailed. We have received many compliments on its appearance from our friends and neighbors. We are very pleased with the price compared to hiring someone to build one from scratch. We highly recommend this kit.
